740K views · 38K reactions | The holiday sweets table needs plenty of desserts, and while the usual favorites will be there, here's a sleeper to surprise everyone: Cream Cheese Danish for the win! Ingredients - 1 puff pastry sheet - 1 block cream cheese (room temperature) - 1 egg - 3 tablespoons sugar (use 5 tablespoons for a sweeter version) - Optional: a splash of any flavored extract **Instructions:** 1. In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and sugar together using a hand mixer, stand mixer, or just some elbow grease. Add a splash of your chosen extract if desired. 2. If you’d like, transfer the mixture to a Ziploc bag for easy piping, but spooning it works just as well. 3. Take your puff pastry sheet (it should be slightly cold—not room temperature—to avoid stickiness) and cut it into 6 equal squares. 4. Place a dollop of the cream cheese mixture in the center of each square, leaving a small border around the edges. Beat the egg, then brush it around the edges of each pastry square. This helps seal the edges and gives a golden finish. 5. Bake in a preheated oven at 400°F for 15–25 minutes. Keep an eye on them to ensure they don’t overcook. When they come out of the oven, brush the edges with melted butter for an extra touch of richness. And just like that, you’ve got cream cheese Danish for the win. | bwoodcooks

That was amazing y'all. Alright. So as you see, we have one. We had two cans of biscuits that we're putting in this little greased up nine by 13 dish and I did one can of the eight on that side and we're going to squish the other eight over here on this side for this beautiful and impressive if I might say so myself non bias of course but this breakfast casserole y'all you ain't even seen nothing like it before I can promise this now this is something we love to do for the holidays if we've got people coming over you know Thanksgiving Christmas birthdays sleepovers this is our go to because after those two cans of biscuits yay we are dumping some tater tots down at the bottom. And we're just going to get us a nice solid layer. Let's see if I can make that fit nicely. It don't look like I'm going to be able to but that's okay. So we're just going to press those in. You want just kind of one layer of some tater tots. And if you find the mini ones, I like using the mini ones just because they'll fit out nice but y'all we go through some tater tots here. Five pounds and it's almost gone. Alright. So we got that on there. And then y'all Bob Evans pork sausage patties. This is the breakfast original kind. I don't like doing the spicy kind because sometimes the kids you know they don't like the spice. Alright so we're going to get all eight of these babies and we're going to press them into those tater tots underneath one by one. And y'all if you got a bigger pan or more kids or more people in your house and you need to do too. These little Bob Evans babies are always buy one get one free and so that's what we like to do next stop I saved you all the trouble we're going to take here eight eggs I like to do it one per person in the house and we got eight people here right now and we're adding in a little black pepper and some garlic salt and I'm just going to whisk this up really quick and get that nice and even we're making this you know breakfast so might as well have scrambled eggs in it with it and y'all look at it. That is beautiful. Okay. So now this baby let me switch hands. Get my right hand. Gotta get my strong hand. And we're going to pour those eggs right on top. Yes they're going to sink down to that. Those tater tots. They're going to sink to the bottom. Alright y'all. Guess what? A little Mexican cheese. I'm only using the Mexican because that's what I had in my you know fridge. So I'm just going to dump this entire baby on there. It was almost the full package. I used a little bit for some chili but y'all I'm just going to spread this out cover up them eggs I know it seems like a lot but y'all trust me this is going to be the most beautiful and delicious breakfast you have seen alright and because this is y'all looking a little too bland for me we're going to throw in a little greenery get those chives right on top and this is just Kiera's little special add a little bit of something if it's Christmas time shoot y'all you know what you could add in I'm going to do it and show you a little paprika nothing says Christmas like chives and paprika I tell you what it is perfect and it don't just go on deviled eggs y'all alright look at that look how beautiful that looks and it ain't cooked okay now this baby is going in the oven our oven is set at 375 and we're going to have it in there about 20 to 25 minutes make sure you don't burn your biscuits alright y'all it has been done cooked actually y'all let me show you how perfectly crispy those biscuits are even inside this casserole but y'all it is time for me to wake these babies up and have them get themselves some Christmas breakfast casserole
2.6M views · 85K reactions | My New Go To Breakfast Bake For The Family | My New Go To Breakfast Bake For The Family Overnight French Toast Casserole Is A Perfect Plan Ahead Breakfast | By Drew Cooks | Starting with a loaf of bread and a sharp knife. Magically remove all the crust from that loaf of bread and then set it aside. For later save the crust though. Grab yourself a mixing bowl. Add 6 eggs. One cup of milk. One half cup of heavy whipping cream and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. And then grab whatever you like to whisk things with and whisk it all up. Once you're done with that take that and set it aside next to your loaf. Grab a stick of butter. Melt it. Add one cup of brown sugar to the melted butter. Stir that up really good and after you've licked it all off the fork, go ahead and pour it into an eleven by thirteen baking dish like this. Grab a new fork if you're worried about that and go ahead and spread it all around like so and then lick that fork. Grab your bread. Start laying it in a layer across like this if you're a Virgo. You can cut little pieces and put them on the side like I did. Uh and then grab that butter mixture and spoon half of it on top of this and then throw a layer of cinnamon on top of that grab the rest of your bread do what you just did before make a whole layer and again if you're like me make it perfect like so and then spoon the rest of your butter mixture right on top of that bread once you have it all on there I like to take the spoon and push down on any spot that looks dry just make sure everything is completely coated slap another layer of cinnamon on top of that toss some saran wrap it because we're putting this in the fridge overnight. Alright I guess I'll see you in the morning. Good night. Good morning. Let's pull this saran wrap off of this baby and get a good look. Look at that. Ooh it already smells like french toast. Alright. Let's slap some aluminum foil on top of this. Throw it in the oven at 350 degrees for forty-five minutes but we'll take the foil off for the last fifteen. Oh baby we're out of the oven. Look at that. Oh it's crispy on top. You can hear it sizzle. I have to cut into a sizzling. I know it's hot but I have to. Holy moly. Actually let's turn it upside down. So you can see that brown sugar and butter just coating the bottom. Now there's a lot you can do with this. You can put powdered sugar on it. You can put maple syrup on it. You can put a strawberry on it. You can even put whipped cream on it. But I'm just going to try it like this first. Overnight French toast bake. I hope it's worth it. Oh it is. Damn. That's good. It was definitely worth it. I mean it's hot. This is perfect for me. Uh because I can make it the night before, wake up, throw it in the oven, go for a run, and when I get back from my run, it's ready. I can just take it out of the oven, put it out on the counter with all the fixins, and my kids will have a delicious French toast weekend breakfast. I'm a Assuming they wake up before lunch. Teenagers. See you in the comments. God that's good.
