“Hedgefield” is a shingle-style home nestled in the summer town of Northeast Harbor on Mount Desert Island in Maine. It was built on the original location of the historic Kimball House Inn, which was torn down in the 1960’s. The home’s eastern turret and wrap-around porch pay homage to the original Kimball House Inn structure, built circa 1888.
