Gather the table
Four to fifteen players sit around one table. The host's phone carries the narrator, a live voice that runs the whole game out loud, and everyone joins from their own phone to receive a secret role.
Keep your role secret
Roughly one in three players is Mafia. Everyone else is a citizen, joined by an optional doctor who protects one person each night and a police officer who investigates one.
Night falls
Each night the Mafia quietly picks a victim, the doctor chooses someone to protect, and the police learns whether one player is Mafia. If the doctor guessed right, the town simply hears that no one died.
Debate by day
When morning comes the table talks it out, then votes someone off. A tied vote spares everyone, and night returns.
How it ends
The town wins the moment every Mafia is gone. The Mafia wins when they match the rest of the table in numbers.
