Summer of Love
Welcome to Summer of Love.
You and nine other singles will enter a luxury villa and couple up, spending a month in each other's company, along with a few extras along the way – you'll live together, eat together, sleep together, and hopefully, fall in love together. Sound familiar? Thought so – but instead of coupling ceremonies being split by boys and girls as is typical in shows like these, the public will be the ones deciding the order of who gets to pick, and as the cast is an all-bi one, you can pick whoever you like, so long as they haven't already been picked.
At the end of the month, the most popular couple will win £500,000. As for the other couples? As there are no dumpings, everyone has the potential to find love, and those in exclusive relationships by the end could also win £100,000 per couple.

Just a note, I found it a little disconcerting that everyone's described pretty well, but we only get to pick hair and eye colour, and not our skin colour and body-type. It's been a long time since I played the old version, but weren't those included before?
No, I’ve never included them before and I didn’t feel like I’d use them enough, if I’m being honest.
Like I’m barely going to use hair and eye colour, let’s be honest (height, hair texture and hair length are more used and easier to use), and skin colour and body type just seemed like shoving things in for the sake of it when they’re not going to get called upon–to call on skin colour, I’d have to assume people’s cultures and kind of put them into racial boxes that may not apply, in comparison of Scarlette, Haoyu or Anwar where I know their backgrounds, how important culture is to them, and so on. Body types, I could call upon but at the same time, I can’t think of how I’d do that naturally, in comparison to body confidence which I can call upon all the time and actually use meaningfully.

The stat bars seem to be backwards. For example, at the start I chose the option to sit in a corner and leave early for what I do at a party, and it set the bold/reserved bar to 10%, which is the "bold" end of the bar.
That’s right. Basically, the grey side is the reserved side in this case, and that’s bigger than the coloured (bold) side, and you’re 10% bold (or 90% reserved) so the stat bar is showing correctly.
However, I may need to find a better way of displaying the stat bars just because it would be easy to mistake and if you’re confused, others may be too. I’ll have a play tomorrow, but it may take a while to figure out because it took me weeks to figure out the first time.
I think if you made both sides colored (if you want to use the same colors you're already using, the left side could be blue and the right side could be pink), removed the dot, and assigned a percentage to both stats it would be more obvious. To use my same example, instead of just having 10% under the bar, there would be a 10% next to bold and a 90% next to reserved. At the point where the dot is now is where it would switch from blue to pink, so the left 10% of the bar would be blue and the remaining 90% of the bar would be pink.

Hi I'm playing on mobile and the game auto opens in landscape mode and it's pretty hard to read with it all squished like that, is there a way to make it play in portrait mode? I also don't know if it's something with the game or just how mobile firefox handles things
I do recommend landscape just because it works better with the buttons (the back button shrinks and the settings go down to the bottom banner which isn’t the best), and especially if you prefer light mode as for some reason light mode background turns black on portrait, you can now set it to portrait in the game settings if you really want to. You can also change the text size if that would be better and solve your issues.
(I am a portrait puritan generally so I get it if that’s your general preference)

Glad to take a peek under the surface and get to know her thoughts maybe even more than in old 4.2 days - just in 1.1. Others too probably, but I'm not sure I can make myself pick someone else(at least for now) to know for sure, but at least both Amber and Noah give better vibes than before.
Time to wait in anticipation for the drinking game with maybe some new questions.

And about the rewrite so I'm just just asking for something, the prose is really nice, a lot more than I recall it being though it's been since the last update since I've read. Not saying was bad before, but it's standing out a lot now in a way I don't remember it doing. Also, love Mattie even more than I did already after the conversation with her
Yeah, it’s been a year and a half and I basically figured out how to write better in that time.
As for the it/it’s neopronouns, I do need to check grammar before adding them so I use them correctly, but they should be in there by the next chapter release.

This made me feel like im actually filming a show. I'm torn between Haoyu and Theo, thankfully its only the early days so i can be as indecisive as i want 🤣 I have no idea who to choose and yet im also looking forward to meeting the others who haven't shown up yet, hopefully my MC can find her ideal person.
On day 4, as we talk to Vanessa during breakfast, once we choose a reason why our previous relationship didn't work out, it becomes a dialogue with Scarlette, whatever we choose, and it's basically the previous conversation that we had with Vanessa where we ask her about her previous relationship :(
To avoid this bug i went back and chose the option of not even having minor relationships, but the next segment says 'after breakfast, you and Hayou' and not 'you and Vanessa' as it should be.

Also, I really appreciate the customization options. It's especially cool to know that they have some sort of meaning during the game, such as in conversations. I love being able to be trans in IFs, so I'm really grateful that this game allowed that and more!

If I'm remembering correctly - you need to essentially be flirty but not force anything on her. Don't pick her as your roommate. Let her flirt with other ppl and have things not work out with them. Reach out to her, but let her decide what she wants to do. She'll eventually come to you on her own.

Absolutely obsessed with this. I would love it if there was a way to show little physical gestures to someone - hold their hand, hand on knee, touch the small of their back, etc. -and I do wish of course there were sprites, but those are such small things to wish for in the face of everything else being exactly what I hoped. I would pay money over and over for this game because it actually feels like a fun romance. Can’t wait for the next bit!
I'm a big IF fan and this game scratched my itch, actually salivating when i replay this game. I love how unique all of the love interests instead of just being the same person in a different font. Keep up the good work! <3
I am OBSESSED. I went into this one blind, really hoping for an IF that focused purely on romance - and Gosh, did you meet the Craving! Love the concept, the characters, the relationships being steadily formed — there’s some truly Real moments that spring up from innocuous questions and I love that. The diversity, the representation - ❤️ Mattie, Izzie, Vanessa, Amber… needless to say I’m going to be replaying the ish out of this. I do wish I could have coupled with Izzie from the start, though. It kinda felt like she was restricted for a reason (and I wondered why).

I like Noah, but he's not fully invested in our couple; he's bluntly flirting and stating interest in Amber, and somehow Amber is interested too, so what's the point of us being a couple? when I feel like the MC is a second choice or obstacle for him. I get it. It's still early days, but I can't help but feel uncomfortable, so I decided to not care about him and pursue Theo. And I can't wait for the next chapter to talk to Theo. I like his character sadly we can pair up with him fast lol
if you go all in on noah he seems to reciprocate, at least from my point of view, with the only real sign of him being interested in amber being the quiz answer. but i can see where you're coming from. and i'm also desperate for the option of couple up with theo (:

I’m in love with this game. I'm new to playing games on this website and when I found this one it took me by surprise I was not expecting to LOVE it as much as I did. I love how every character has their own unique personality’s and backgrounds, Noah is so complex but he’s definitely my favorite so far I can’t wait for more episodes. Please update when you can and remember to take care of yourself :>

I thought it would be just ordinary tv show game that let you decide and have s*x with anyone you wanted but… after i chose Mattie everything just changed this game just really have a good plot that can make I actually like her. And mad when the Vanessa things comes up.

The game seems cool so far but it'd be great if there was some simple quick way to check who is who. I can't really remember people simply by having them be introduced and done. Something like everyone's names and some reeeally basic description that one can check at any point would be really helpful.
I hate to say this, but have you noticed the button at the bottom titled character profiles? You may have to click the up arrow first of you're on mobile. Each character is on there, and if you click the name, it'll bring up their profile

I don’t know if it’s a glitch or not but every couple of days I get a notification that the games been updated but I can’t see what’s been updated if anything has? The game just stops at the same bit after the date with Vanessa. I love the game so I get very excited there’s been an update and then don’t see anything and get sad again 😂
Are you asking about the events before she chooses you (day 3, part 2) or after the breakfast date (day 4, part 1)? I've made a few updates since completing day 4, part 1, but they mostly involve fixing mistakes rather than actual game updates. If you're stuck on day 3, part 2, I need to know so I can fix whatever error you're encountering.

I just checked the code and the game. The button that states 'next chapter' works fine, but you do have to scroll to find it.

On the Charlie route Chapter 3 part 3, when Vanessa steals us away and we go to Charlie to talk, the choices of if you want to continue getting to know them or not, they both answer with not continuing to get to know them :(
I've checked the code and played it through myself, and I haven't encountered this issue. Glitches like this do happen, but on my end, I can't fix it as there's no mistake in the code.
