about

Whilst padding around their local, the Lackey Circle, the group Nick & the Nod, subjected in this tale, was summarily presented with an incredible opportunity secured by connections relating to the influence of company CEO M. Rockin, to visit the oft-touted multinational devotional, A Palace of Fords, which was a major attraction in those parts. A man accosted them in fevered tones in the foyer of said establishment, shouting “I Am Well!” after an encounter with crystal-wielding influencer in nearby lavatory. A clean sweep was performed, which cleansed the realm of pollutants, both physical and spiritual. During a break in the proceedings, dubbed “Show's Inner-Mission” due to the well-established spiritual bent of the presenters, an offering of watered palms was presented and summarily set aflame by local clerics, only they wouldn’t burn because they were wet. This phenomenon, namely the inability of ripe and saturated foliage to readily succumb to conflagration, was later condemned in a subsequent manifesto annex titled “The New Green Deal - With Produce.” My colleague, Kol McIntrye, stumbling slightly as the group had just absconded from said nearby pub, was outed by attendees as a gombeen man after his handing of several bills to one of the group to cover expenses incurred in the consumption of pints was misinterpreted as exploitative. “A man must look after his own,” he says. Someone attempted to take my coat. I demurred. “How long are you going to hang onto that thing?” they demanded. “Til I hang it up,” I replied.
