There are a growing number of bands in the shoegaze-influenced alt-rock scene right now, and few are doing it better than Glare. It has the dreamy, ethereal shimmer. It has the early 2000s alt-metal riffs. It has all the tone and texture you want from an album like this. I'm going to be surprised if this isn't my personal favorite shoegaze release of 2025. Texas forever.

Album of the year 2024.Modern shoegaze classic. Directly gets into my personal top 20 shoegaze albums of all time. There is no weak track here and that makes it so great! Fans of Slowdive and Slow Crush in particular, would appreciate this record.
