The songs are masterfully composed and flow together beautifully, and the orchestration is exactly how I want metal orchestration to sound: full, playable by a real orchestra, and just as important to the music as the vocals, drums, guitar, and bass are. tonycordeshimself
I don’t usually go out much for metalcore/deathcore but this album would easily make my shortlist. Emotionally captivating with great storytelling and an overall solid musical performance. 7/10 RJ
VOLA have a super approachable way of putting together djent and progressive music. Every song on this album is simply said just flat out excellent. Has the feeling of one of those releases you just subconsciously keep coming back to. My album of the year from 2021. I would recommend this to anyone regardless of their musical tastes. 9/10 RJ
Parisian metal band up the ante on their avant-prog, pitting nasty death-metal riffs and blast beats against tenor sax and accordion. Bandcamp New & Notable Jan 23, 2025
Another BC better late than never discovery.
Energetic, roaming riffs, bass for days, hyperactive drumming, good vocals, it's all here.
On repeat for 2 days now, wouldn't be surprised if it stayed on it for 2 more. FuegoMyEggo
