The week started out devilishly cold in the studio

Snow flurries or maybe graupel on the windshield screen

A snowball in the window

Since snow is predicted for Tuesday, Martha wanted to get the outside decorating done.

I split open the gourds from Martha's Fall decorations as a treat for the birds and critters

Lanterns light the way

Martha decorated Ink's lantern with a red bow.

Martha was very busy

He put out little trees with lights

and decorated the planters with ribbons, lights, and faux pine

Solar Christmas bulbs on the rails

Martha said he wants the solar lighting to be seen from space.

Santa untangles the Christmas lights for the Advent tree. I think I heard a Horse's Patoot! Or two.

Earlier this week, the big bunny came out to eat grassicles.

While I was away, Martha was busy decorating. He put a gourd in each of the lantern planters

but the gourd couldn't be seen. He took a trip to the Dollar Store to find something that would raise the gourds above the planter. The planters still weren't fancy enough so Martha took a trip to the craft store to buy some ribbon and some Fall swag.

I finally took down Ink's flag and replaced it with the November flag.

Winter has come early so the frost shield got put on the car.

The Friday Five Good Things

 

Five good things that happened this week.

1.  I ordered some items from Michael's. The shipping box was the perfect size box to send the Young One her Death Doctor's costume in case she has a Halloween event to attend.

2. The Eldest ran an errand and brought me back a bar of fancy soap I used to get.

3. While watching the video of the Rennie Revisited class., the instructor used my name as a practice example

4. I spent the day watching the Rennie class videos and drawing the Glasgow rose

5. On the way home, I saw both sides of a rainbow
