Last week, I signed up for an online watercolor class through Willow Wolfe. (at a ridiculous low price of $14) While I wait for some supplies I bought from Jerry's Artarama, I'll look over the introductory lessons.

Last night just before the electricity went out, I thought I heard the tail end of a news story that USPS is raising stamp prices. So, I'm checking to see if it's true and when the increase occurs.

Yuppers, it's true. USPS is raising prices from 68 cents to 73 cents per ounce for First Class postage. The rate increase takes effect on July 14, 2024. Still time to go to the Post Office and stock up on stamps at the lower 68 cent rate.

Because today is supposed to be the pick of the week with the arrival of Summer weather, Teague and I swapped our usually Thursday play day to today.

I'm not sure what we will be doing. There was talk about going to a cemetery. Whatever we do, I'm pretty sure ice cream will be involved.

I need to return the Apple HDMI connector. I purchased one with a USB-C end and I need one like the picture with the Lightning connector for my iPad.

Then I need to research if I need a special app to cast or mirror what's on the iPad to the monitor in the studio my class is in at the museum. I hope to be able to use the drawing app Procreate to demonstrate calligraphy.

Today, I'll be shopping (and hopefully buying) a pair of sturdy athletic shoes for walking. Specifically, I'll be looking at Skechers as they have slip ons or hands-free slip ins. I hate tying shoelaces.
