It's insane to think he's had so much music recorded and saved that he can create entire albums with songs he originally wrote several years prior. How fitting that something so profoundly and devastatingly emotional be created under the name Life, a worthy tribute to the complexity of emotions humans endure within their lifetimes. He knew what he was doing having eleven as the final track. Putting an emotional abyss in the middle of the track for the listener to endure alone is devious work.

Quand _____ mettait à l'honneur la fougue et la vitesse du lièvre, tortuga qui lui succède quelques mois plus tard, comme son nom l'indique, se situe du côté de la tortue. Cet album, plus long, joue sur les genres et les tempos pour mettre en lumière une douleur mélancolique (souvent liée à l'amour — thème commun avec _____), comme sur le morceau "your hand melts into mine", d'une très belle tristesse malgré le rythme rock. C'est comme si ces deux albums étaient les deux faces d'une même pièce.
