名前 三つ入子枡 読み みついれこます 種類 器物紋 モチーフ 枡 代表家 歌舞伎市川家 枡紋の説明 枡は物量を計測するための道具。江戸時代には枡が「増す」に通じることから縁起が良いものとして家紋に用いられた。また名字に「枡」「増」「益」の字を含む家に多い。

三枡（みます）、枡紋のひとつで「三つ入れ子枡」とも呼ばれる。歌舞伎様式の一つである荒事の創始者としても知られる初代市川團十郎が定紋として使用した家紋。成田屋を屋号とする市川団十郎系に代々受け継がれています。家紋の由来は京枡説が有力だが、京都の俳人・荷翆（かすい）の「稲妻のはじまり見たり不破の関」からヒントを得ているとも諸説あります。 2015/06/21　※升→枡に修正、文様修正
