| DESIGN NAME: Fabrika Coffee

 PRIMARY FUNCTION:
 Packaging

 INSPIRATION:
The coffee trend today is possibly at its highest point of popularity in history. There are countless truly interesting design options in the segment. However, our goal was not to compete for the title of most innovative design in this race. We wanted to create a clear image that would appeal to both classic coffee enthusiasts and representatives of the new wave. Our aim was for the style to reflect the time-tested values of the coffee brand while being visualized in a contemporary language.

 UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The key feature is a decorative die-cut window in the shape of the logo symbol, representing coffee grinder blades. Through this window, the beans are visible, creating a signature visual effect and emphasizing the product's natural quality. The color palette helps differentiate varieties, and the text provides essential information on the roast and flavor.

 OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
The Fabrika Coffee packaging is designed for convenient and reusable use. The ziplock seal allows the package to be easily opened and closed, maintaining product freshness. The window on the front, through which the coffee beans can be seen, helps consumers assess the product's quality. The packaging is compact and easily stored on a shelf, making it convenient for use at home or in cafés.

 PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION:
The project started in January 2022 in Moscow and was completed in May 2022

 FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY:
 Packaging Design

 | PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The design was created using offset printing on high-quality recycled paper, combined with a die-cut window to emphasize the brand logo and showcase the product. The clean typographic layout follows minimalist principles to create a balance between visual appeal and functionality. We used eco-friendly inks and techniques to ensure the sustainability of the packaging without compromising durability or appearance.

 SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES:
The packaging measures 120 mm x 80 mm x 250 mm and is made from recycled cardboard with a density of 350 grams per square meter. A matte finish with UV varnish is applied to enhance durability. The inner surface is treated to preserve the product's aroma. The packaging holds 250 grams of coffee and is equipped with a resealable ziplock for reuse.

 RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
The research began with studying traditional design and modern trends in coffee packaging design. We conducted a survey among consumers about their preferences for packaging design and functionality. Based on the survey results, concepts were developed using a data-driven design methodology. As a result of the research, a minimalist packaging with functional elements, such as a window showcasing the natural product, was chosen.

 CHALLENGE:
The main creative challenge was finding a balance between classic and modern packaging design. Limitations in production capabilities and available materials also posed difficulties, as it was necessary to maintain high-quality standards while minimizing costs.
