| DESIGN NAME: Oiwas Smooth Collection PRIMARY FUNCTION: Luggage INSPIRATION: Featuring a sleek and minimalist geometric line design reminiscent of a sailboat, this luggage not only showcases the tension and beauty brought by rhythm, but also symbolizes the good wishes of smooth sailing in traditional Chinese culture, and enhances its crush resistance. While retaining classic design elements, the product adds an innovative opening front design, which is stylish and convenient for users to quickly access belongings like laptops and documents. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This luggage, featuring lightweight construction, enhanced convenience, and multifunctional integration, aims to create an efficient, easy, and comfortable business travel experience. With the Apple certified FindMy network location technology and the notify me when lost feature, users can pinpoint the location where they lost the luggage and receive timely notification. The one touch braking system and rechargeable design enhance practicality, highlighting the user friendly design philosophy. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The hidden phone support and foldable cup holder make traveling easier. The rectangular rounded handle provides a comfortable grip for labor saving. The anti-wear side foot support prevents the luggage from scratching. The TSA password lock locks both compartments and allows for easy opening. The HINOMOTO silent wheels reduce noise by 20 decibels compared to regular wheels, making travel quieter and more elegant. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Focusing on balancing strength and durability in material selection, this luggage utilizes Covestro PC material that is crush resistant, scratch proof and durable, eliminating the need for frequent replacement due to damage. After rigorous testing including 30,000 cycles of pulling and closing tests and 4,500 continuous shock tests, its rod has been proved to feature excellent breaking resistant strength, ensuring durability and stability. CHALLENGE: The challenge was improving safety and convenience. The luggage adopts the Apple certified FindMy network location technology and the notify me when lost feature so that users can pinpoint the location where they lost the luggage and receive timely notification, ensuring the safety of their luggage. Its one touch braking system helps users easily brake the luggage on a sloping road without bending, friendly to the elderly, people with limited mobility, and business people who travel frequently.
