| DESIGN NAME: 4.56 PRIMARY FUNCTION: Interior Design INSPIRATION: The space was designed with an inspiration of black and white era with large white surfaces and black used as art elements. The space has art from various artists. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Lobby is white with maximum glass around to increase daylight. The space is designed with white walls and grey flooring and takes you to your apartment directly via a private lift. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: the space is all white walls with curated artworks and a grey flooring. the space replicated the sea waves of the juhu beach in a large artwork behind the reception desk. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: the project started in july 2024 and was finished in dec 2024 FITS BEST INTO CATEGORY: Interior Space and Exhibition Design |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The Lobby was designed with the help of heavy CAD-CAM to create the waves in parametric form. the bench was also made using robotic arm to create the fluid visual shape. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: The Lobby is a non rectagular space with a todal length of 8.5M and width of 7.3M and a height of 3M. TAGS: Luxury apartments, luxury interiors, lobby, reception lobby, interiors, space design, all white, white and grey interiors, mumbai, juhu RESEARCH ABSTRACT: the research for art and abstract paintings was done and curated as per the design. CHALLENGE: the space was to be managed with an all white walls to create a bright and visually light space.
