 | PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The house has undergone extensive structural changes. Kitchen has been extended. Garage next to the entrance’s been converted into a cinema room. Open plan communal areas are on ground floor; first floor is dedicated to the master suite. Staircase was relocated, and two staircases merged to create easier access to rooftop play area.

The large kitchen area, where the family likes to spend time, is also on the same floor and communicates with the living room. The second floor is separated by a large specially designed door that defines the boundaries of the parents' area. There is a large living area, a pleasant bar/kitchen area overlooking the gallery of the living room and openning to the master bedroom through a secret door. RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
The project prioritized a user-centric and lifestyle-driven design. Initially, user needs and preferences were thoroughly investigated through observations, interviews, and surveys. The design considered factors like room count, size and environmental elements. An initial plan emphasized room layout and privacy, with open plan spaces for gatherings. Systematic approach was adopted in the design process, resulting in a home tailored to owners preferences.

 CHALLENGE:
The biggest challenge during the construction and design phase was the difference in level on the ground floor. To overcome this, we used a small excavator bucket to bring the whole house to the same level. Thus, we both solved this problem and turned the situation into an advantage by gaining ceiling height. We had the chance to design a double height ceiling in the main living area which added depth and grandeur to the design.
