| DESIGN NAME: Mirada Solis PRIMARY FUNCTION: Ring INSPIRATION: We live in a world of contrasts, where perfection is not about completeness but about finding our place within a greater story. Life unfolds through duality, -love and fear, light and shadow-, where each side exists in harmony, whole on its own yet richer together. Mirada Solis captures the eternal interplay between completeness and longing. Inspired by the myth of Apollo and Artemis, it reflects the harmony of opposites, light and shadow, solitude and unity. Each ring stands as a singular, self-sufficient entity, yet when paired, a new meaning emerges. The design is a tribute to the idea that perfection is not about completeness but about finding one's place in the larger story. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Mirada Solis is ela.store’s signature best-seller, designed to celebrate the brand’s anniversary with a subtle yet powerful integration of its logo and DNA. More than just an accessory, it has become an interactive experience, allowing wearers to define its meaning through color, styling, and personal interpretation. By balancing brand identity with creative freedom, Mirada Solis has set the foundation for ela.store’s signature design language. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Each piece stands alone yet transforms when paired, incorporating its core philosophy of interconnectedness. Many positive feedbacks from clients compliment its adaptable, gender-neutral design as a symbol of self-expression and shared experiences. Customers frequently purchase it in pairs or trios with friends and loved ones, while enamel options allow for personal customization. Its versatility has promoted strong customer loyalty, driving repeat purchases as clients return to add new colors for seasonal styling, stacking, and evolving their collections. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The concept for this signature design was first developed in February 2024, for brand's anniversary. The research phase continued until May 2024, followed by the creation of initial sketches, which extended into July 2024. The production process began in the week of July 2024, with the final version being completed by mid-August 2024. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The journey began with hand-drawn sketches, refined through digital sculpting in Rhino to achieve precise geometry. High-resolution 3D printing was employed to create resin prototypes, ensuring accuracy before casting in 925 silver. The final piece underwent multi-stage polishing to achieve a mirror-like finish, followed by our signature enamel application technique. This process adds a distinctive glossy color touch, a defining characteristic of ela.store’s identity. Clients recognize the brand not only through its design language but also by its vibrant enamel accents on silver jewelry, making each piece instantly identifiable. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Weight: 4.5 gr Height: 20.80 mm Length: 20.52 mm TAGS: ring, silver, signature, minimal, mythology, jewelry RESEARCH ABSTRACT: This design came to life after analyzing our sales data and noticing a strong client preference for pieces inspired by our brand’s identity and DNA. For ela.store's anniversary , we wanted to take that idea further, creating something bolder. The result is a piece that stands out on its own but also layers effortlessly, allowing for a personal touch. With vibrant colors and flexible styling, it reflects our brand while giving wearers the freedom to make it their own. CHALLENGE: On the creative side, we treated the design as a sculpture rather than just a ring, which meant making sure the flat surfaces blended into the band but still looked good next to other pieces. On the technical side, we had to go through several prototypes and carefully control the temperature to make sure the colors merged smoothly while keeping the surface clean and smooth.
