 PRIMARY FUNCTION:
 Air Fryer
 
 INSPIRATION:
 To offer a comprehensive and efficient one stop solution, the design team has created this compact device that supports multiple cooking methods like air frying, roasting, baking, shallow frying, stir frying, steaming and boiling, able to meet diverse cooking needs. Such a device avoids the purchase of several devices with only a single function to ease the economic burden on users and save kitchen space, striking a balance between convenience and efficiency.
 
 UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
 This cooking device supports multiple cooking methods including air frying, roasting, baking and shallow frying, aiming to well meet the diverse cooking needs of users. With a U shaped base, it allows users to quickly switch between the cooking modes by simply flipping the top module vertically 180 degrees. The device only has a single heating module, but enables 3D hot air and uniform temperature rise for even heat distribution, which can satisfy the demand of users for a healthy diet.
 
 OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION:
 The 360 degrees transparent glass cabin invite users to visually observe the Maillard reaction during cooking process.
This cooking device adopts an innovative structure coupled with a U shaped base, which enables users to quickly switch from air frying mode to frying pan mode by simply flipping the top module vertically 180 degrees, easy and efficient.
 
 PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION:
 This product started its design in January, 2024, and was launched in June, 2024 in China.

 | PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The stainless steel heater applied to the heating module stores energy and slowly releases it to ensure rapid temperature rise under the premise of even heat distribution. 3D hot air technology effectively removes grease from ingredients, helping to make more healthy food.

 RESEARCH ABSTRACT:
 Considering the growing contradiction between the pursuit of quality food and busy lifestyle among modern users as well as limited kitchen space, the design team has developed this versatile cooking device to provide users with a one stop cooking solution, aiming to satisfy their demands for diverse kinds of food while adapting to compact living spaces.
 
 CHALLENGE:
 The biggest challenge was to make it easy for beginners to get started. Users are allowed to preset the menu on the APP, and the device will automatically adjust the duration and degree of heating, which can also modify the relevant parameters according to personal preferred tastes, nutritional needs and real time data. The device, capable of connection to a smart refrigerator through IoT technology, will recommend recipes based on ingredients available, and provide detailed cooking guidance.
