| DESIGN NAME: Airwheel Se3 Mini T PRIMARY FUNCTION: Suitcase INSPIRATION: This electric smart suitcase was developed with an understanding of the modern travel challenge of the physically demanding final travel stage. It also considered the diverse travel requirements of various age groups. The design alleviates user travel fatigue by integrating the electric riding function with traditional suitcase features. It enhances the independence and convenience of elderly travellers, enriching their overall life experiences. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This electric smart suitcase surpasses the limitations of traditional suitcases by providing more than just storage. With its portable power supply, this suitcase offers a creative ride and go function, effectively facilitating user mobility and efficiency in public transportation settings. The handle with an intuitive stretching mechanismallows users to control and drive the suitcase easily, making it a convenient and efficient choice for business trips, travel, shopping, etc. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: The suitcase handlefeatures an intuitive stretching designfor a smooth rideandgo experience. The turnbuckles on the left and right sides of the handle, corresponding to forward and brake functions, allow intuitive control of both forward and backward movements so users can quickly master the operation. Additionally, the product features an exclusive app offering convenient functions like cruise control, Bluetooth disconnection alerts, search functionality, and customizable route programming. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The miniT was designed and developed in Changzhou in April 2019, and subsequently launched in China in 2021. |
PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The suitcase is constructed from a high-strength 6 series aluminium alloy and features a patented frame with a load capacity of 110kg. This design ensures safety, reliability, and adaptability to challenging road conditions. The linear LED breathing light on the suitcase conveys a futuristic and technological aesthetic in line with modern design trends. Utilizing an integrated moulding process, the pedals have been designed to enhance stability and comfort while riding. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: 385*250*575 TAGS: Compact ride and go suitcase, exclusive smart app, intuitive stretching handle, mobile charging, extra wide wheels RESEARCH ABSTRACT: In light of the growing urbanization trend, individuals frequently encounter challenges related to transportation connections and physical strain when travelling short distances. To address these issues, this electric smart ride and go suitcase has been developed. By incorporating a portable mobile power supply, it combines storage and mobility functions, reducing reliance on additional modes of transportation and significantly enhancing travel convenience. CHALLENGE: The challenge of this project is addressing the energy supply demands of users during extended travel. This offering incorporates a high capacity portable power supply of 73.26 WH to prolong the operational time. Additionally, the exterior of the suitcase is outfitted with two USB charging ports for various devices, enhancing the convenience of charging while on the move. Furthermore, the lithium battery utilizes LED indicators to present the remaining power, ensuring intuitive monitoring.
