| DESIGN NAME: Halo PRIMARY FUNCTION: Smart Helmet INSPIRATION: Its inspiration came accessories like the apple pencil and the airpods. While the idea of a bluetooth enabled helmet isnt entirely new, halo was built to add way more convenience and effortlessness when paired with a vehicle like the Rizta. I -Auto Wear Detection lets it detect when it is being worn and power on/off automatically, allowing a rider seamless access to its audio experiences. -Wireless charging allows it to provide effortless charging by latching our wireless charger to the helmet UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Ather Halo: A helmet you'd want to wear. Ather Halo is designed to uplift your every-day 2-wheeler ride experience. It does through high-quality audio experiences such as music, call control, and helmet-to-helmet communication for easy conversations between a rider and a pillion OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Ather Halo is a full-face electric scooter helmet with built-in Bluetooth speakers (with sound by Harman Kardon). Its sound is designed so that, even at full volume, you can hear the surrounding sounds of the road clearly, making it completely safe to ride with. It’s built with Auto WearDetect automatically switches on the moment you wear it and connects to your smartphone's Bluetooth. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: Ather Halo was built to be a helmet first. It is an isi and dot -rated helmet shell. To ensure safety, all its vital electronics have been housed outside of the helmet shell and away from the user's head in its own IP-rated impact-grade housing. The housing contains all the intelligence like the motherboard, a battery and a wireless coil with magnets to allow our wireless chargers to effortlessly latch on to the helmet. AutoWearDetect: This is achieved through a contact-less proximity sensor inside the helmet and an Inertial Measuring Unit Calibrated Sound: Through careful positioning and tuning of the speakers, Halo has been designed for audio without losing road awareness. Onboard Media Controls: In combination with the Ather Rizta or the Ather 450 series, all control for music and call has been incorporated on the handlebar of the scooter itself, allowing you to never take your hands off the handle and fiddle around with the helmet during a ride.
