| DESIGN NAME: Shougang Soreal Xr Park PRIMARY FUNCTION: Space Design INSPIRATION: The design inspiration is derived from the respect for the industrial heritage site and the aspiration for future technology. In light of the burgeoning digital economy, this project endeavors to venture into innovative digital realms that seamlessly blend the past with the future, as well as culture with technology, thus giving rise to an entirely novel sci-fi universe. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The park integrates the historical culture of the industrial heritage site with modern sci-fi elements for an experience that transcends time and space. It preserves the original form and utilizes innovative structural transformations and materials to ensure versatility and visual appeal. The design team has cleverly crafted flexible pathways and thematic zoning to provide an unlimited and virtualized free experience. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: We've integrated several products through virtual reality, augmented reality, and other technologies. Together with spatial sensing and data analysis capabilities, this park provides a more intelligent and interactive experience. At the same time, AI algorithms can analyze user preferences and emotional states to auto-generate multiple storylines, allowing users to choose according to their preferences. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The park uses several cutting-edge technologies, such as depth camera-based human action recognition, eye movement tracking, leap motion technology, and real-time computing somatosensory interaction systems, combined with 5G + Bluetooth AOA technology, to achieve navigation via the mobile phone APP and accurate positioning. The metallic and artistic paints and stainless steel plates have undergone various techniques to create a unique atmosphere. SPECIFICATIONS / TECHNICAL PROPERTIES: Architecture: It consists of a main building and a side building. The former retains an original building form - a six-storied columnar shape, and the latter is a three-storied cuboid block, both of which are connected internally. Spatial design: The main structure totaling 6 floors is independent, the southern building is 33m high, and the northern building with 4 floors is terraced while maintaining a coherent appearance. TAGS: Digital economy, industrial heritage site, artificial intelligence, spatial computing, immersive experience, sci-fi world, interactive devices, role setting, the integration of technology, and cultural inheritance. RESEARCH ABSTRACT: The program team delved deep into the architectural site, Shougang industrial heritage site, and the living ambiance in Beijing City, leading to the establishment of the park's orientation. In collaboration with professional manufacturers and structural design specialists, we've resolved intricate obstacles and realized our design vision in terms of structural transformation and structural design. CHALLENGE: The design of the Shougang SoReal XR Park encountered many challenges, such as design orientation, complex structural transformation, and structural design. The design team successfully navigated these obstacles through thorough design analysis, advanced technology integration, and the utilization of innovative materials. This resulted in the creation of an immersive space that emanates a sci-fi ambiance, uniquely blended with elements reflecting Chinese characteristics.
