| DESIGN NAME: Cold Resistant PRIMARY FUNCTION: Lightweight Long Down Jacket INSPIRATION: The design team responded to the demands of urbaners by creating a lightweight, warm and breathable goose down jacket that prioritizes comfort and practicality. The jacket, crafted from exclusively developed lightweight and insulating fabrics and high quality goose down, incorporates advanced technologies such as partition downfilling, 3D aerospace warmth locking, and graphene heating, satisfying daily commuting and outdoor activities. UNIQUE PROPERTIES / PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This cold-weather goose down jacket is designed for urban commuting, casual outings, and various other settings. The jacket features innovative fabrics exclusively developed by the brand and utilizes high quality Hortobagy goose down, balancing lightweight design and exceptional warmth. Integrate a scientific partition downfilling process and 3D aerospace warming locking technique, the jacket achieves a bouffant yet stylish visual appeal in line with modern aesthetic preferences. OPERATION / FLOW / INTERACTION: Advanced high performance fabrics integrate breathability and warmth, effectively regulating body temperature and moisture for a warm and fresh wear experience. The jacket features a 3D aerospace warmth locking process and the patchwork thermal storage technology lining, guaranteeing consistent thermal comfort, even in exceedingly cold conditions. The precision 3D cut fits the contours of the Asian body shape, ensuring a snug and ergonomic fit. PROJECT DURATION AND LOCATION: The project commenced in January 2023 and concluded in May 2024 in Ningbo, China. It was subsequently showcased in Mainland China in October 2024. PRODUCTION / REALIZATION TECHNOLOGY: The fabric comprises aerogel, natural volcanic rock, and seaweed polysaccharide. It features a unique groove fibre structure that promotes air circulation and effectively inhibits heat exchange between the interior and exterior of the jacket. In response to this need, this goose down jacket was developed. Through the application of advanced materials and technology, this jacket delivers exceptional thermal insulation and ensures comfort and flexibility, making it an optimal choice for the winter season. CHALLENGE: The primary challenge is achieving a balance between warmth and lightness. To address this issue, the designers chose Hortobagy goose down as the filling material, renowned for its voluminous and feathery structures. Through a scientific partition downfilling process, this material delivers exceptional thermal insulation with a mere 212 gram weight, effectively meeting the wear demands under extremely low temperature weather.
