Dungeon synth has always been my go-to genre when I’m feeling down, whimsical, or sleepy. This album is incredibly nostalgic and features various key changes that enhance its overall appeal. The inclusion of field recordings adds texture, while the beautiful synth tone is simply stunning. I also appreciate how it maintains a nature synth sound while still incorporating some of the older dungeon synth’s fantasy and medieval elements.
