All tracks are absolute killers, and while it calls for similarities to the Judas Iscariot early work and the early 90's scene, it is in itself a cult opus, one that I could have missed on, so thankful to the black soul who brought "Stygian Temple" on my altar of sacrifice, since some band members are shared... all hail the bearers of the blackest flame! Favorite track: Thy Tears of Blood Grace My Eternal Grief.

David Fischer Another KrachmuckerTV recommendation I quickly fell in love with. Cold Earth's black metal is indeed freezing, debilitating and lethal. Not aimed at innovation or avantgardeness at all, but honoring black metal's traditional roots. Blastbeats and melody-driven tremolo assaults galore on your prefrontal cortex while pissed, harsh (but not gnarly!) screams demolish your self-consciousness. This may very well pummel you into having frostbites allover your worthless, damp body. Favorite track: Inscriptions at the Cemetery Gates.
