Hestra opens first North American store in Boulder

Iconic Swedish glove brand Hestra opens its first North American retail store on Boulder’s Pearl Street Mall on Oct. 30.

It’s a milestone for the family-owned company, which has been perfecting the craft of making gloves since its founding in Hestra, Sweden, in 1936.
The new flagship store offers visitors a chance to experience Hestra’s craftsmanship. From high-performance outdoor gloves designed for skiing, cycling and mountaineering to an elegant collection of dress gloves crafted from carefully sourced materials and meticulous attention to detail, the store showcases the brand’s dedication to excellence.
“Opening on Pearl Street lets us connect directly with the community and tell the Hestra story, one of craftsmanship and innovation, with people who share our passion for quality and the outdoors,” James Hampton, president of Hestra North America, said in a statement.
“This store is more than a retail space. It’s a place to experience our heritage, learn about glove-making and discover the perfect pair for life’s pursuits, making memories in the mountains and beyond.”
Hestra’s new store at 1126 Pearl St. will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday; from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturdays; and from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays.
Hestra’s North American headquarters is based in Arvada.
