Maggie Carson is a dynamic leader and dedicated advocate for professional and community advancement whose impact is felt across Colorado’s business and philanthropic communities. As a Partner and Shareholder at CBIZ, Maggie brings more than a decade of expertise as a Certified Public Accountant, having earned her CPA in 2011. Her commitment to excellence has been recognized with multiple honors, including being named to ColoradoBiz Magazine’s GenXYZ list in 2021 and receiving the CBIZ Women to Watch Leadership Award in both 2022 and 2023.
In her role at CBIZ, Maggie stands out as a champion for creating meaningful opportunities for growth and connection. She founded and now chairs the CBIZ Young Professionals group in Colorado, hosting events such as Yoga and Mindfulness & Mocktails and Networking that help foster a strong culture of balance and belonging. Maggie also leads CBIZ Women’s Advantage for Colorado, where she coordinates book clubs, the Networking and Learning Series and the Speaker Series, as well as CBIZ’s annual fundraiser supporting Dress for Success.
Her leadership extends far beyond her firm. Maggie serves as Executive Board Member, Treasurer and Events Committee member for Dress for Success, where her stewardship helped raise a record $15,800 in CBIZ’s 2025 “Your Hour, Her Power” campaign honoring women in leadership. Maggie’s dedication to service and mentorship is an inspiration to young professionals and senior leaders alike.
As a single mother of two young girls, Maggie models what it means to lead with integrity, vision and generosity while building a thriving professional community.
