FiddleJohn Funk and groove knee-deep in the loam
A little clay squishing between the toes
While supping on the pure drop
With heads in the clouds
Gazing up at the firmament
The tunes rise

funnylittlehedgehog An extremely groovy, rhythmic album. Trad brought into 2025.

This album is excellent.
I find myself thinking of things like, "this album goes hard". "Wall-to-wall bangers". Honestly "Ryan's Rant" and "Master Crowleys & The Roscommon Reel" could be club anthems.

Im kind of reminded of some of the rock vibes from "Out of the wind, into the Sun" but obviously with vibes of more modern music. Which is mad because this is absolutely Trad.

Unreal album. Absolutely worth the wait.

The album 'INTO THE LOAM' by Cormac Begley and Liam O’Connor arrives in a bespoke, multi-layered design that unfolds like the landscape it celebrates. Each layer reveals stories, track details, and insights about the music, inviting listeners to journey deeper into the heart of the album.

The cover features a cut-out design that creates a visual tunnel, symbolizing the rich layers of tradition and texture in the music. Inside, the sleeve opens out to share liner notes, track histories, and reflections from the artists.

To complete the experience, the album is shipped in a seeded envelope — a simple gesture of giving back to the earth. Listeners are encouraged to plant the envelope and grow wildflowers, letting something new and living emerge from the music.
