Cute Card Thursday - Sketch

We have a simple sketch over on Cute Card Thursday this week.

You can keep it very clean and simple or like me you can add whatever you like to it!

I decided to use the sketch to get my December Daily started.  

The stamp I used is Whimsy Stamps Little Cottage Cutie 'Apple Blossom's skates' by Elisabeth Bell.  I have coloured her with Prismacolor pencils.

Scrapbook Steals MWM Pearl 9b

I finished this layout Wednesday night so I don't know why I haven't posted it before now!  I used the fantastic sketch from Scrapbook Steals MWM Pearl 9b designed by Erica Bass.  

It was so perfect for these photos but I realized I had no wintry papers to match.  Imagine my surprise when I found these Authentique Fresh papers worked so well. They are actually beach themed!

 These were the only words I could use from the collection that didn't directly refer to a beach theme!  Think it works pretty well!

 I used my Whimsy Stamps Spell it out stamp set to create the title.

One I made earlier......

Excuse my absences this summer, we are just back from a trip to UK to get our visas renewed, glad that is over with and won't have to do it again for a while!

Good thing was we were there while the Olympics were on, hubby and kidlets got to see a footie match and I just enjoyed seeing London Olympic style! 

Anyway, while I am just starting to get settled back into my craft room, (got some goodies to share later in the week) I found this card that I am pretty sure I never got around to showing although it did feature in one of the Whimsy Stamps magazines earlier this year!

The papers are all Authentique 'Uncommon' of course bought from 

Scrapbook Steals, my fave place to shop!

Hopefully I will be around a long while from now, glad that things are returning to normal after a very busy summer!
