If you’re feeling overwhelmed when it comes to decorating a room, try starting with the focal point! This is the visual hero of the room where your eye naturally lands first. In a bedroom design, for example, the focal point is often the bed paired with the wall behind the bed. So try putting all your effort into the bed area first (bedding, throw pillows, wall decor above the bed, etc) to avoid feeling intimidated by the blank canvas of the room!
