My most popular crockpot appetizers! | My most popular crockpot appetizers! I share 3 of my most popular dips that I made in the slow cooker. | By Rick's Friend Justine | Alright, we're starting off with two bags of frozen spinach. Go ahead and flatten that out into our crockpot. Doesn't need to be, you know, totally breaking apart but if it's easy to break apart, go for it. Now, I have two cans of Rotel and I didn't drain them right into our crockpot with that spinach. I have one block of cream cheese but right on top of that toe. And then a second block of cream cheese. Oh yeah. Perfect. So today we're making a yummy and easy dip in our crockpot. I have here two jalapenos that I diced up. Now if you don't like a lot of spice. You could add more green chilies but there are green chilies in the rotel. So you could just skip the jalapenos all together if you don't like things hot. But if you follow me you know I love some heat in there. Extra creamy. We're going to add one pound of sour cream. Just get that kind of half on one side and half on the other side. We're not going to mix this because it's kind of chunky already. We'll mix it once it starts melting but as long as we get it nice and spread out, this should cook nice and even. Oh my goodness, it smells so good. I love sour cream. Okay, get all of that deliciousness out of the container. Beautiful. Moment we've all been waiting for. We are coming in with two pounds of our sharp white cheddar. Now, I know that might seem a little crazy. I did hand shred all of this cheese but trust me, this is going to be the creamiest, cheesiest kind of, you know, spinach dip but with a little kick to it. I love to add the rotel, the jalapenos. Oh my goodness and this is an eight-quart crockpot. So, if you don't have a big crockpot like me, you're going to have to cut this recipe in half. Oh my goodness. It's going to be so delicious. White cheddar is one of my favorite cheeses. Extra cheese please. Yeah and the Tillamook is my favorite. You guys know that. I use that cheese all the time. Okay, now to add a little bit more, you know, flavor to this. We're going to add some minced garlic in there. You could use fresh if that's your style. Just go ahead and just get a few of these squeezes here and there. Remember, this is a big serving, okay? I'm having a party so I'm getting ready for that but you do not need to this much. Alright and then our next flavor add in is going to be some chili powder. Sprinkle that right on there. Now, you can season this to your liking. So, if you don't like chili powder, you can skip it. If you have a taco seasoning you want to add, go for it but I have a few things that I want to add in here that I really like with this dip and we're going to add some paprika. I just love the color this paprika brings. Oh my goodness, this paprika is not just for breakfast you guys. Okay. Nice little sprinkle of our seasoning. Of course, we're going to do some onion powder. I'm not going to do garlic powder because we already have that delicious garlic in there. Perfect. Now, our last but not least, a little bit of black pepper. Mmm. Guys, know I need to add pepper to everything. Okay, that looks beautiful. Now, like I said, we're not going to mix this because there's a lot of big things in there. It get a little too crazy trying to mix it. So, we're just going to pop our top on and we are going to put this on high and let it cook so it can be ready for our Super Bowl party. Alright, so it's only been 1 hour but we're going to do a midway stir. Let's go ahead and try to get everything a little bit more blended together. Oh my goodness, that cheese is starting to melt. The cream cheese has softened. That spinach, the rotel. Okay, see now things are coming together. Oh, the sour cream This is going to be delicious you guys. Okay. Get it one more good stir and then we will put this lid back on to let it finish cooking. Yum. Alright, that was one large can of refried beans. I'm coming in with my paste hot salsa and we're going to put that right next to our refried beans in our Crock Pot. Use that whole entire jar. You can use mild or medium if you don't like it hot but I like it a little bit hot. Next, I'm coming in with my original sour cream. This is the sixteen ounces of sour cream and we're going to put that right behind our refried beans in our crockpot. We are making a super easy and delicious apple appetizer today that everyone will love. Oh yeah it's going to be creamy and delicious. Now I'm coming in with my mild cheddar blend and we're going to put that right on top of our crockpot next to our sour cream and our salsa. The next cheese I'm going to grab is some jalapeno pepper jack. Or you can use Monterey Jack. Whatever cheese you like you can use for this. But we're using the whole bags of each of these cheeses. Oh my goodness, isn't that look so good? Smells delicious too. Okay, to add to this creaminess, we have some cream cheese. These are just blocks of cream cheese and we are going to go ahead and put one right behind our refried beans and then, we are going to put one right in front of our refried beans but the placement isn't that important as long as we get all of our cream cheese in there. Alright, now we're coming in with some chili powder and we're going to season up this whole entire crockpot with chili powder. You can use a taco seasoning if you prefer but I love some chili powder. Then, we're coming in with some cumin. This is just going to add some great flavor to this. This is a big serving of appetizer because we have a big party happening so we gotta make sure to season it properly. Delicious. Alright, you guys. That is it. We're going to go ahead and grab our lid to our crockpot. Oh, it fits perfectly and then, we're going to put this on high to let it cook, let it melt, and get delicious. Alright, you guys. So, we have our mild cheddar, our white cheddar, and our Oktoberfest in our crockpot. This is going to be so good, you guys. Now, I'm coming in with some cream cheese. This is going to be amazing. Just put that right on the side of those cheeses. The cheesier, the better. Now, to kind of combat that like strong beer taste, we're going in with some Dijon mustard. Okay and we're just going to do a nice little swirl not too much about two tablespoons should be plenty okay now we gotta season this baby up I have some garlic powder here and what we're making here today is a beer cheese dip and it is so good I love making this for you know football Sunday for you know when a big party's coming over it's so easy and so delicious I'm going to go ahead and grab salt. You don't need too much salt because obviously, the cheese is salty on its own but it's always nice to salt and pepper things. So, we're going to add our pepper Beautiful and then, last but not least and this is totally optional. This is delicious even without it but I cannot do without it. We have some bacon bits. Oh, yeah. This is going to be good, you guys. We're just going to sprinkle that right in there and you can use whatever beer you like. It doesn't have to be Oktoberfest. I just had Oktoberfest in my fridge so that's why I went with that. I'm actually going to go ahead and move our white cheddar to the side. So, we have our three cheese is right next to each other. That is looking good. Alright, now we're going to go ahead and put our lid on and we're going to set this too high. Whoo. It's going to be good. Alright, so it's been about one hour so I wanted to give it a check and give it a mix. Oh. Oh. They got you in the face, huh? That is one strong beer cheese so. Smell it now. Okay. So, it's not fully melted yet. So, we're probably going to need about like 30 more minutes but oh my goodness, we can break up that cheese. It is wanting to get there. Put that lid back on and get this finished while our beer cheese is in the crockpot. I'm going to go ahead and grab a sheet pan because we need something to dip in that beer cheese and that is going to be some pretzels. Oh yeah. Go ahead and grab these out. Oh my goodness. Okay. I'm just going to cut these so they're like the perfect bite size and I have a sheet pan because we're going to toast these up. Yeah. Oh my goodness. This is going to be such a great dipping. I love Hawaiian sweet rolls. So when I saw these pretzel buns I knew these were going to be the perfect thing to dip into our beer cheese. And my oven is set to 375 and this is going to take like five to 10 minutes depending on how toasty you want them. Alright you guys. So it has been a total of two hours on high. Remember we mixed it halfway and we're going to go ahead and pop this on warm and let's check it out. Ooh smells so good you guys let's give it another mix oh my god it's perfect thick and delicious perfect for New Year's Eve party Super Bowl party or you know just football Sunday whatever you want to make this for it's going to be delicious now you could dip some bread in here some tortilla chips whatever chip you like I have these hearty dippers from Tosito's which looks so we're going to give this a try because we want a big scoop oh my gosh look at that it looks like a Frito okay Alright, I'll move a little bit over so I don't eat over the crockpot, you guys. That's why. You look good. Oh my gosh. That is really good. You guys, you have to make it right now. Alright, it's been three hours on high. We're going to go ahead and place this on warm and let's check it out. Whoa. Look at all of that steam. Now, of course, we gotta give it a good mix. Oh, look how soft those refried beans are. That's exactly how we wanted to look. Just give everything a good mix. This is our bean dip like you've never had before. Oh, Yes. The salsa, the cheeses, the cream cheese, the sour cream. This is going to be incredible. It looks delicious. Oh yeah. I love refried beans and I love this dip. It's so great for a party. Everyone loves it. Just give it a nice good mix. Make sure all of those beans are fully blended with the cheese, the sour cream, that seasoning. Oh my goodness. Colors starting to lighten up too. It's a nice and the cream cheese and the sour cream. Okay. That looks absolutely delicious. Keep it on warm so it's warm throughout the party. That's why I love a crockpot. You could obviously do this in the oven but the crockpot is superior. Now, for dippers, I got the Frito Scoops and it is time to scoop and we're just going to go right in. Look at that. Looks incredible, right? It looks delicious. It's going to be super hot. That is even better than I anticipated. Honey want some little honey girl. Just really make sure to blow on it. It's going to be super hot. You could turn it on off probably because it's that hot. It'll probably stay warm just in the crockpot but the Frito bean dip combo is the best. Enjoy. Alright you guys. So it's been an hour and a half total. Now we're going to put this on one. And check it out. That looks so good. So an hour and a half on high mixing halfway. Look at that. Beer cheese dip. Perfect for dip. Looks so good. Okay. Now since it is football Sunday I have my array of toppings for everyone to enjoy. Go ahead and grab you know a little pretzel bite that we toasted. And then we're going to dig in and enjoy.

This is a 7 ounce crockpot. So, I'm just going to come in with some sour cream as well. Keep in mind that was about two and a half pounds of these refried beans. Now, I'm going to take a decent amount of the sour cream because this is going to make it nice, creamy, and delicious, a nice little sour taste and I'm going to take about three fourths of that as you can see. We're going to save that, put that in the fridge. Now, it comes a Fun part. I'm coming in with some paste picante. This is mild. I love using mild first recipe but if you like it spicy, you can do a little spice and I'm going to put this right along. Oh oh that came out fast. I'm going to put that right along and I'm going to use this whole entire jar. That's going to add the bulk of our flavor. Oh my goodness. But you know what's really going to tie everything together? Colby Jack cheese. Everybody loves some cheese. And I'm just going to pour this all around this bean dip along with the sour cream and the the cream cheese. I'm going to get this whole bag right around that. Look at that. How's that look, babe? Delicious. Does it look cheesy? Yeah. That's good news because it is. So, that was a whole pound of Colby Jack and now, I'm going to use about one cup of mild cheddar just to get it nice and cheesy and just keep it a little bit more versatile. A good way to do a cup is grab it with your hands and that's about a cup and then, sprinkle it right on top. Oh my goodness. Oh my goodness. Look at how beautifully delicious that looks and on top of all this, I'm just going to throw in a little bit of flavor, some paprika. I love using that and just going to put a decent amount on here. A lot of people have been saying that I use a lot of sodium in my recipes but you know what? When I eat them, there's not barely any sodium in there. Now, I'm taking some chili powder. I like the nice, light spice. I do have everything mild here. So, this spice isn't going to add too much spice. I want to put some right on the beans. Look at that. Oh my gosh. That is going to be nice and spicy and this is my preferred oregano but you don't have to use oregano here. You can use you want. I just love the way that it looks and it tastes so delicious. Look how beautiful that is and this is ready. I'll grab the lid. Put it right on top. Hopefully the beans don't get in the way. Oh look they're dumped. Perfect. And I'm going to turn this right on high and we're only going to let this cook for not even like one to two hours. Just keep an eye on it. Alright so this has been on high for about 2 hours. Now I'm going to turn it on warm. And check out. Ooh all that steam escaping. Oh and I'm just going to start giving this a mix. Main thing is just get the cheese off the edge. And here we go. I'm going to start mixing this right now. Oh my gosh. It smells so good. First off the beans. Ready? All right in there until it's nice and melted. I'm just going to start pounding this in there and mixing it all up. Let's just start mixing everything. Oh I can the aroma is outrageous. And the heat of everything will just start to melt everything. Look at that. The beans are going to get perfectly incorporated. Oh yeah making a mess. Classic. Oh how about that smell babe? Smells delicious. Smells amazing right? And look you can see the beans perfectly dissipating and into a smooth creamy like texture. Oh the cheese is getting we're starting to get a minor cheese bowl. Look at that. Ooh. This is so good for football Sunday. It's going to be amazing for all game days. I I mean I I'm I'm super excited for hockey but that's fine. What? Yeah. Hockey? Yeah I love hockey. Go show now I'm going to start mixing all this together. Alright I think this looks pretty dang delicious. Let me know in the comments below what you would do differently. But I am going to instantly come in with the only thing that could ever satisfy this dip. Some taquitos scoops. Are you ready for this? Oh my gosh. This is going to be so delicious. I bet you are all so jealous. I'm about to put this in my mouth. But make sure you blow on it. It's going to be really hot. Enjoy. Good luck. Are you kidding me? Now that is amazing. You guys are going to love this one. Holy moly. Babe you gotta try it.

49K views · 264 reactions | Everyone Will Love This Easy Mexican Appetizer | Everyone Will Love This Easy Mexican Appetizer Danny shows us a super easy appetizer using ground beef, cheese, salsa, and jalepenos! | By Rick's Friend Justine | Alright, so that was a one pound of ground beef and now I'm coming in with Philadelphia whipped cream cheese. I love using whipped for this recipe just because it like aerates and it's just going to add some great flavor and I'm just going to put this right there in the center of crock pot. Now I'm going to come in with some pico the gallo. This one is a mild. Can you see it? Oh medium. And I'm just going to put this right alongside of that cream cheese. And that's a lot of pico. You don't have to put this much pico but my friends that are eating this love pico. And now just to add a nice more light spice. I'm going to add some sliced jalapenos. I'm not going to put too much here but I do want some of that juices right there. Oh that's going to be absolutely delicious. Now you can use almost a cheese but I saw this nacho and taco blend and I was like oh my goodness this is going to be absolutely phenomenal it's just going to add some great flavor and we got some good cheeses in here cheddar Monterey Jack and with some spices speaking of Monterey Jack and cheddar and queso cheese I'm going to use some Mexican cheese now I'm using about I would say maybe about a pound of cheese but you guys can use as much cheese or as little cheese as you want but this is really going to tip it over into that awesome realm it's hot and spicy old patio tacos seasoning and I'm just going to take this taco seasoning and spread it across the whole entire thing. I'm going to use this whole entire thing because we didn't really season our beef. We didn't season anything and now I'm coming in with this and I'm just going to start blending all of these ingredients together. You want to make sure that you get that beef incorporated throughout the whole entire dish and you almost want the consistency to be perfect. Now, I'm just going to keep stirring this. Now, I do have about, I would say about eight friends coming over for the game tonight and I just going to put this on low and slow. That way I can make sure that we have a nice, hearty, meaty, delicious, spicy like gang gay dip. Oh look at that. Doesn't that look amazing babe? Yeah. And this is ready. I'm going to grab my lid. And I'm going to set that right there and I'm going to come right down here and I'm going to do like I said low on slow for four hours. Alright so this has been on low and slow for four hours and are you guys ready for this? Doesn't that look amazing? Oh my goodness. Look at that. And I'm so excited to give this a nice little mix. Oh my gosh. Look at how beautiful it looks. Wow. Your guest at this next game day is going to be absolutely ecstatic every time they dip right in and I think that's ready. What do you think babe? It's incredible. Pretty dang good. And you know with every dip I have to have my favorite chip scoops. And I'm just going to go right in here and check this out. Oh It's steamy, ooey, gooey, delicious. Blow it. It's going to be super high. Honey got some. Hopefully it's not a jalapeno. Oh my gosh. Yo cancel on the game day alright? This is mine. Cancel the game. Yep.
