All Ingredients Room Temp 2.5C Flour 2tsp Baking Powder 1/2tsp Bakind Soda 1/4tsp Salt 3/4 C (1.5 sticks) of salted butter 1.5C Sugar 2 Tbsp Vanilla Extract 2Tbsp Vegetable Oil 3 Large Eggs 1 C Buttermilk Frosting: 1C (2 sticks) Salted Butter 6C Powdered Sugar 1Tbsp Vanilla Extract 6Tbsp Milk oven @350. Cream your butter & and sugar. mix flour Baking Powder, baking soda, and salt in a different bowl. Add vanilla, oil & eggs to the creamed butter. Slowly added dry ingredients and buttermilk to the creamed butter mix. Fill cupcake liners 2/3 of the way full. Bake for 15 mins. For the frosting: Beat all ingredients until light & fluffy. Adjust milk for desired consistency.

Recipe description
I used the below measurements for a 6" cake with 3 layers of sponge, and just for the very outside coating. I did not use any for crumb coating and I had the perfect 1/2 cup amount left for writing very minimalist numbers and letters. SOOOo if you want more buttercream for crumb coating or a bigger cake, definitely double, triple, or even quadruple this recipe.
