Introduction to Kactus:
The band was named after a song on Butter Glolly (Marge Records).
A nerdy, lo-fi, psychedelic guitar-pop band that worships The Pastels and others. The band started in 1994 with the launch of CLOVER RECORDS. The band consists of Sugino (guitar, vocals), Saito (drums), Hiromi (trumpet, keyboards, vocals), Julia (bass) and Richard (guitar).
Released two cassettes on CLOVER, a 7' on Sonorama (US) and Fuzzy Box (US), and participated in label compilations for CLOVER (JPN), SONORAMA (US), Cream Cone (JPN), Cowly Owl!
