Having cut their teeth DJing at queer & underground parties across Australia and the UK (Confide, Joyride, Junk, Club77) and iconic Melbourne/Narrm hotspots (Revolver, Music Room, XE45), LONER (they,them) emerges fully formed in the body heat of hard house, emotional breaks and euphoric bangers.
“My Love”, the first single from their forthcoming EP is one of the strongest debuts we’ve heard all year, both locked and cranking on our big speakers at clipp.art HQ for a minute, and anything to go by is the announcement of a major new talent on the roster. In their own words: “My Love’ gives that feeling of being in love, which is very euphoric and joyful in nature, with that subtle undertone of longing underneath”.
