In a spectacular display of power, all 564 battery cabinets discharged in an incredible 95 ms, and the system is up and running at full power of 100 MW! After one year of grid connection, Huaiyuan energy storage station has charged 89.29 million kWh and discharged 76.12 million kWh, completing 400 charge/discharge cycles. The station is the first to adopt a distributed large-scale storage solution with a modular design configured as 29 arrays by 564 battery cabinets. It also has the fastest charge and discharge response time among the five demonstration projects in Chongqing. As the project manager, Shiyong Cao said, "None of the nearly 24,000 cells in this project exhibited any quality or performance issues that would cause downtime. 🚀 Following the expansion of HiTHIUM's factories in Xiamen, Chongqing, and Dallas, we’ve opened a fourth production base in Heze City, China. This 451,000 ㎡ factory is exclusively focused on long-duration energy storage production. 🏭 HiTHIUM's fifth-generation intelligent manufacturing adoption has enabled the Heze factory to exceed 10GWh in single-line production, 30GWh in energy storage battery production, and 20GWh in energy storage system production each year. The first phase of modules will kick off in the second quarter of 2026, with battery cells, and the second phase of construction will begin in 2027, leading up to full production in 2028. This ambitious project is set to bring thousands of jobs to the city, making it a truly exciting time for Heze! 🙌 Since our establishment, we have made significant progress. From a first-generation single-line production capacity of 1.8GWh, we've grown to a fifth-generation single-line production capacity of over 10GWh.
