With Carillon, Concussion presents a new sonic narrative – a four-part EP that marks the next step in his artistic development. Compared to his energetic debut EP on CNC, Carillon moves at a significantly slower pace and reveals a more voluminous, deeper sound.
The hypnotic, detail-oriented sound design remains, but this time the focus is on rhythm: driving loops, subtle minimalism and a dark atmosphere characterise the tracks. The EP is permeated by a cool, wintry aesthetic, sounding like the echo of a night-time club room where intimacy and darkness meet.
Carillon is an invitation to sink in: between fine structures and emotional depth, a sound world unfolds that is reduced and at the same time rich in sophistication – introspective, raw and captivating.
