I know I used up a ton of scraps for these #crumbblocks but it sure doesn't look like I made much of a dent in my scrap pile. 🤷🏽♀️ 🥳✌🏽 Stay tuned for part two, as I start sewing the blocks together with sashing! ✌🏽🥳 #crumbquilt #quiltasyougo #scraphappy #scrappyquilt | repurposed vintage quilts | Abby Posner · Reflect And Rise

Sew with a quarter inch seam. ⭐ Flip your block over and press open the 1" strip only. ⭐ Take your next block and layer under the first block lining it up with the edge of the 1" strip, right sides together. Sew with a quarter inch seam. ⭐ Now the 2 blocks will butt up against each other when laid out and the raw edges will be encased by the sashing. But, we've still got to finish the top. ⭐ Press the 2" strip over toward the second block, covering the raw edges of the blocks underneath. Sew an eighth inch seam along both sides of the 2" strip. ⭐ Now you've got 2 blocks attached! You'll keep going attaching all your blocks in each row. 👂🏽⁉️👂🏽 Let me know if you have any questions or if anything was unclear. I'm happy to help! Happy sewing!!! 🧵🪡🧵 #crumbblocks #crumbquilt #quiltasyougo | repurposed vintage quilts | Nick Gallant · Sundown
