I decided to turn a twin bed into a raised daybed so I could store boxes underneath. One thing led to another and I created my own "diy" bed canopy. I love to repurpose things so this cost me no money .... only some rummaging in my attic. The canopy uses two wooden dowels as "curtain rods". I put 2 sheer curtain panels on each. I then put 4 screw hooks in the ceiling to hold the dowels. The rest is a thumbtack here and there. Easy!
