20 DIY Cat Litter Box Ideas + Hidden Litter Box

Having a cat means dealing with a litter box. At first, I wasn't thrilled about having a litter box in plain view in my apartment. It didn't match any of my decor, and honestly, it was an eyesore. So, I started searching for ideas online on how to make the litter box blend in or even hide it entirely. I have 2 cats and no other room to put the litter boxes than in my living room. I know, it's not ideal to say the least, but this cabinet that hids the litter boxes seem to do the trick ! It is a simple Ikea Besta cabinet, I spray painted the legs in gold, added an oak top (I had some unused wood in my garage), and jigsawed 2 holes on each side, and boom !
