This is THE BEST Shower Door 🚿 🚐 We’ve been living in our RV for over two years and we HATED the glass shower door. It was a pain to clean, it was heavy, and we were always worried about it breaking. 🚿 Now we have… the Nautilus Retractable Shower door and it’s the best thing since sliced bread 🍞 This shower door is light weight, self cleaning, and weighs less than 10 pounds!! We’ve had this shower door for over a year and we will never not have this. 347K views · 4.6K reactions | 10 mistakes RVers make! We’ve made some of these for you so you don’t have to! 😅 Trust us, the last one is humiliating and we want nothing more than to spare you from making this mistake! 😳 Some additional info for 1 - turning the 💦water off when you leave, if you’re using your water pump, turn it off before you leave. If you’re hooked up to city water, shut the water off at the spigot. Okay, here’s what happened for the last one. 🫣 We had stayed at a full hookup campground the day before and had emptied the tanks as we were packing up. Somehow the black tank never got closed (it ALWAYS has before, this was a first after years on the road), but normally that would be fine because we’d be heading to another full hookup campground! Welllll, we were keeping things flexible and didn’t have reservations and ended up at a water/electric site for the next few nights. When it was time to head to the dump station on our way out, Matt took the cap off the black tank and yeah…it was the worst thing that has ever happened to us as RVers. 💩So that made it onto our teardown checklist very quickly, make sure all tanks are closed before departure. So since we’ve shared the worst of the worst, let’s hear your stories in the comments! We can all learn from each other and help each other out!!! #rvlife #rving #rvtips #rvtipsandtricks #rvtipsfornewbies #gorving #rvcamping #camperlife #camperliving #rvlifestyle #rv | Why Not Wander?

Actually the covers for your furnace vents are for flying insects that build nests like wasps, dirt robbers, hornets and even mice . They are best to have covered in summer bc you don’t use your furnace as often giving these insects and pests time to build nests. We use a non toxic preventative inside and spray outside to prevent these insects in our RV as well as use these covers for nesting insects. I always thought this was supposed to prevent the ants and spiders until I realized these pests can get in through your slides, cracks in storages, and your door! Did you know that’s what the vents were for? Do you use them on your Rv? But, please don’t forget these 3 safety items! We believe they could save you money, time and potentially your home on wheels! Save this for reference at a later time. 👉🏻Gasstop-These devices will turn your propane off whenever it detects a leak. An RV fire is a huge fear for most RV’ers and if you can help prevent one this is a must have. 👉🏻TPMS-tire pressure monitoring system. We love this one from TST. Ours is 3 years old and going strong. This will notify us immediately if it detects a loss in pressure, a high pressure or high temperature. We added them to our truck too for additional safety. If we can prevent a blowout we’re going to do our part by keeping our RV within weight limits, keeping tires properly inflated and using a TPMS. 👉🏻Govee water sensors- these small but mighty water sensors work great for keeping water intrusion at bay. Water + RV=$$$$ We have one under each sink inside the RV plus, 3 in the basement. The alarm can be silenced or set up to 100db. A notification is sent to our phone and our email. Stay safe on the road and in your RV. You just spent a lot of money now protect it! Comment “safety” for the link to these and other Safety items we use. We appreciate any purchase you make, it helps us keep making informative and fun RV reels. #commissionsearned __________________ We are Brian & Teresa a full time RV empty nest couple that loves to travel and explore new places. Make your towing experience worry-free this summer with the REESE Sidewinder! 👍 #rvlife #rving #fifthwheel #camping... | By REESE | If you want to tow one of these with one of these, you're going to need to know this. Hi, I'm Mike. You may know me as an engineer with REESE but I'm also a level four master certified RV technician. So, trust me when I say, towing with a short bed truck requires special equipment. The fifthwheel is so wide when you turn it, you can hit the back cab of your truck. If you know, you know. One option is a slider hitch but that does not help during normal driving. Mainly just use when maneuvering at slow speeds. A second option is an auto slider. It slides back when turning but it's big, bulky, and takes up space in the bed of your truck. My suggestion is the REESE Sidewinder. It replaces the fifthwheel's pin box and it's completely automatic. Making your towing experience worry free. Like and follow for more RVing tips.

The last thing you want to have to do is have to back up or turn around (or worse) because you come to a bridge with low clearance or a road with length restrictions. Today, we were potentially going under a low bridge as well as a road with length restrictions, so we measured again just to be safe.
