Eliot pattern by Harper Bee
The Eliot is a slouchy beanie knit in the round using stranded colourwork to create an all-over spooky bat pattern. The original sample uses two tonal colourways as CC that give an overall muted effect to the colourwork, like pumpkin-coloured bats emerging out of the mist, but the pattern also shines using higher-contrast colour combinations.

Night Blooms Hat pattern by Espace Tricot
NIGHT BLOOMS is a wonderfully wooly hat combining Magpie Fibers Nest Worsted and Biches et Bûches Le Gros Silk & Mohair in a simple but dramatic colourwork motif. The different textures of the yarns make for an unexpected pairing and the fabric created is reminiscent of the flocked velvet wallpapers of yesteryear.
