Summer Fun.

Good Evening,

I have a summer card tonight made using the lovely Digi image from Lacy Sunshine.

I have used some New Sizzix die's (The Flowers and tag) I have just received from Country View crafts, i won a £20 voucher to spend and ordered some dies and Distress Ink, There is also some paper from a magazine freebie, and a strip of Doddle bug Paper frill.

I have made this card using some freebie papers from a magazine a couple of months ago. I used Black card for Layering as i thought it would go with the bright colours. I also Die cut some leaves using a sizzix die. and cut out some flowers from the papers. The ribbon i have had for years and years from the Shop Netto.

Thank You card My personal stamp challenge #23

Hello Again,
I have another card i have made using my actual Stamps!! I made this card for a friend who loves distressing etc, so i have had a go at a Sewing theme distressed card.

 

I Started by Stamping a Gingham (Kaiserkraft Clear Stamp) onto some card, the i over stamped some sewing themed stamps i got free from a magazine.I also Die cut some Sizzix Die's Sewing machine and bobbins. Distressed it all. The two Thank you greeting are Woven ones from Making memories. I stamped a bobbins and cut it out then wrapped some Twine around it. Finally added a little ribbon and a butterfly dome sticker.

Mermaid and My personal Stamp Challenge #22

Hi everyone,

I have made this mermaid card from a Rubber stamp i bought about two years ago from a craft fair i can't remember which stall but it was within a big bundle of rubber stamps for a £5 i think it may have been 'The Rubber Stamp company ' or something similar or Rubberneck comes to mind too, but it is more than likely discontinued know has they were selling off loads of loose rubber stamps.

I am trying to use my actual stamps more as i seem to use Digi's alot lately, I have so many of them but never get round to getting them out..

 

I have coloured her using promarkers. The background is a die cut (Sizzix die) and a Clear rubber stamp (An Old Sizzix Stamp) and heat embossed it green i thought it looked a little like seaweed!  The base card i have inked over slightly with a Chalk ink and then stamped a few fishes faintly ( The fishes are from a Woodware set). Finally i added some stickles to the edge of the Die cut.

I will try to take a picture of all the stamps used asap and add them to this post.

Good Morning to All,

Here i have a card made using all papers from my stash, trying to clear some of it out!! Takes forever to use it all up though!

The Zig Zag background is a Sizzix die and the Scalloped circle is a Spellbinders die i think. the papers are from a magazine years ago.

Todays card is one i made using a fab Sizzix Die my friend let me use! It's a great die cut isn't it? the background is just some washi tape and transfers. All of the bits of papers used are old from my stash.

Good morning,

Today i have a card made using the fabulousApril freebie from The East Wind if you subscribe to their emails.

I have coloured her using promarkers, not sure if i have done her eyes correct they look abit weird!
The background papers are all from my stash, the flowers were cut out using Sizzix Sizzlits. the brads and gems are all papermania.

Hiya,

Today i have a card i made from cutting up an old birthday card i received last year i think. i couldn't resist the dress and the greeting, the were both from the same card. i die cut the greeting using a sizzix die, and the paper backround is from some pull out paper freebies from magazine and i matted it all on to some gold chocolate box wrapping paper. The Eylets and ribbon are from a Do crafts embellishment kit from years ago.....

Hello again,

Here i have another cat card! Again i am trying to use up some of my decoupage and papers, these are quite new from Do crafts, the papers come in the same pack as the decoupage. i added the white greeting using some Doodlebug transfers. the die cut strip is a Sizzix Sizzlits decorative strip die.

Meljen Cats and Kittens

Good Morning,

I have a card i have made using a Meljen Digi image (sadly she is no longer selling her Digi images she has moved on to pastures new), i have coloued it using promarkers, and the backing papers are all Trimcraft 'Pets' a paper pack from years ago and i have used lots of Kraft card. The die cut mouse,wool,Meow are Sizzix sizzlits. the back peeloffs on the tag are from Little Claire, the ribbon from Create and Craft.

Space themed children card

Good evening,

Here is a card i made a while ago recycling an old wrapper from one of my sons Christmas presents( a cardboard fold out space rocket thingy!!) , i though i could use the pictures on a childs card. i cut them out and stuck them to the black card, and i embossed some white metallic card with a sizzix embossing board then rubbed over it with a sanding block. Finally i added some dots using a Sakura pen to the black card to try and make it look like space.

Good Morning

Today i have a card for Christmas using one of the lovely Stamps from the set below they were free from Quick cards in 2011. I need to try and keep using my Rubber/silicone stamps, as i have so many of them (as many of us do!!) but just lately i am using Digi stamps all the time......

I coloured him in using Promarkers, and the backing papers are recycled brown paper (from the inside of a roll of wrapping paper) and old Papermania christmas papers from my scrap box. I used a Sizzix embossing folder on some of the brown paper.

Whoopsi Daisy Challenge

Good Morning

We have a new challenge starting today over at Whoopsi Daisy.  The theme this week is 'Distressing'

I have used a digi image from one of Whoopsi Daisy's CD the 'Daisy and friends at Christmas CD'. You can also get digi images from Linnie's Blog there are some beautiful images to choose from and Linnie adds new ones regularly.

I have coloured the image with promarkers, and i have embossed some satin lilac card and distressed it with Tim Holtz ink. Also used some papers from an old papermania pack and die cut some snowflakes and a border strip.
