Summer almost here.......

Hope your weekend went well? Today is the start of another new monthly challenge from Whoopsi Daisy.Did you know you can now buy Individual digi stamps from Linnie's etsy page as well as her fabulous CD's from here.

And my card this month is based on the theme of Summer Fun. Using a fab image from the CD's Linnie sells here

The background papers are from a magazine years ago, and the Beach hut is a Crafters companion Printable image i think i got for free also years ago. The pearl brads are papermania.

New Challenge starting over at Whoopsi Daisy

Hello everyone,

Today we the new Monthly challenge starting at Whoopsi Daisy, the them this month is 'Things with Wings'.
There are also a few new rule changes so please go and familerise yourself with the rules over at the Challenge, thanks. So now Only 2 entries to the challenge - if you use a Whoopsi Daisy image you  can have a 3rd entry.

 

I have used an image from the Daisy and Friends CD available from Linnie's Etsy page.

I have coloured the digi image using promarkers, and the background papers are from Inspire Me papers i have had for years, the Purple flower border die is new from a craft show i went to last Sunday at Maidstone, the die is a Memory box die. The butterflys are punched, and the greeting is an old papermania sticker.

Good morning,

Today we have a new challenge over at Whoopsi daisy, the theme this month is Add a Sentiment.

I decided to use two images from the Daisy just wants to have fun CD, and put them on a gift bag for a change. I also used some diecutting and the images were coloured in using promarkers.

Today we have a new challenge over at Whoopsi Daisy, the theme this week is 'Lots of Layers' even though I have used lots of layers the card is still very flat so I won't have to pay loads of extra postage.

I have used a pre coloured image from Daisy and friends at Christmas. The background papers are from a Papermania vintage Christmas pack I have had a while. The message is a digi image from  I have added glitter to it.

Morning all,

Today we have a new challenge over at Whoopsi Daisy the theme this week is embellish it.

I have used an image from the Daisy and friends at Christmas CD.

I have coloured the boy in using Promarkers and the background papers are from a crafter's companion paper pack. Finally I added lots of embellishments - a couple of brads(HOTP I think I will check) and some resin stickers(Paper cellar)

Whoopsi Daisy Challenge

Good Morning

We have a new challenge starting today over at Whoopsi Daisy.  The theme this week is 'Distressing'

I have used a digi image from one of Whoopsi Daisy's CD the 'Daisy and friends at Christmas CD'. You can also get digi images from Linnie's Blog there are some beautiful images to choose from and Linnie adds new ones regularly.

I have coloured the image with promarkers, and i have embossed some satin lilac card and distressed it with Tim Holtz ink. Also used some papers from an old papermania pack and die cut some snowflakes and a border strip.

New Challenge over at Whoopsi daisy

Today we have a new challenge over at Whoopsi Daisy the theme this week is 'Things with wings'.

I have created a Christmas card using a Digi image from the Daisy and friends at Christmas CD.

I have made an easel card using a similar idea from one of my magazines Quick Cards. The Digi image from Whoopsi daisy is a pre coloured one, and the papers are from an old Papermania pack i have had yonks!! i had some new Snowflake die's(Sweet Dixie from Scribble and Scrap crafts part of a prize i won!) this week so couldn't resist trying them out and they are absolutely fab to use and i love the designs.

Hiya, here is my new DT card for this weeks new challenge starting over at Whoopsi Daisy today. The theme this week is 2 or More Designer papers. I have used a pretty coloured digi image from sheet 460 available at Whoopsi Daisy

The papers i have used are from - Grey papers - Papermania Creative Tones 'Ivory Black' and the red paper is a My Minds Eye Pretty Please spring papers(free from a magazine). The flower is from create and craft.

i am a little late posting this card today, should have done it this morning oops!! Been one of those days today. 

Today we have a new challenge starting over at Whoopsi daisy. The theme this week is Bling and pearls. i have used a digi image from sheet 514 available from Here
 I have coloured her in using Promarkers and i punched (Tonic punch)some mirror card and used some designer paper from Trimcraft from years ago. I added some pearls and a couple of plastic embellishments  The card i have made is using a template i got from Trimcraft for one of their current challenges, to make a free standing card.

Colours of Autumn..........

Good morning,

Hope all is well? We have just had the tour of Britain Cycle race come through Eastbourne right on our doorstep so that was rather exciting today (saturday when i write this).

Today's new challenge starting over at Whoopsi Daisy is 'Colours of Autumn'. I have used the Digi image from Sheet 431 available for £1.99 from here. You get 4 images on the sheet, 2 of each one blank for you to colour and one pre coloured.

I have coloured her in using promarkers, and the Designer paper is from First edition Hideaway 8" x 8" paper pack, the rest is from my scrap papers. I then die cut a flower and vines from a sizzix die and added a little stickles.

On another note we took the boys to Euro Disney last weekend and we had a fab time, weather was warm and sunny too! The boys got to see their favourite characters and loved the shops!!! The new Buzz lightyear year ride is fab, you get your own laser gun and shoot all the space aliens, we all loved that one! I think i will wait until they are all older next time so we can all go on the grown up rides together.

I have a new card today for the new challenge starting over at Whoopsi Daisy. The theme this week is Leaves and I have used a whole pack of 20 skeleton leaves( from Anita's art stamps) as the back of the brown flower.

I am using the wonderful digi image from sheet 431 available from here. I have coloured her using Promarkers, the papers are from my stash. I have die cut some green foliage(not sure what make of dies they are) and a trellis square (Sizzix). The flowers are from create and craft.

Today i have a DT card for the new Whoopsi Daisy challenge running this week, the theme is 'Girly' .

I have used the lovely digi image from sheet 199 available from here.

I coloured her in using promarkers, and added some glitter to her wings. The papers are all from my scraps/stash, i die cut the Pink 'For You' using a sizzix die. The flowers on the bunting are punched.

New Challenge at Whoopsi Daisy

Morning we have a new challenge starting over at Whoopsi Daisy challenge blog today and the theme is Fussy Cutting (cut something out with scissors)

My card i have made is using the lovely digi image from sheet 491 available from Whoopsi Daisy blog

I have used the pre coloured one this time, and the papers are some i have had for years free from a magazine i think. The resin flowers are Trimcraft. I have die cut the circle and scalloped circle using spellbinders die's.

Good Morning,

Today we have a challenge starting over at Whoopsi Daisy, the theme is 'B' items ie Blue, bling, brads, buttons, bows etc etc 

I have used an image from sheet 395 available from here.

I have coloured the image using promarkers, and used some glossy accents over the windows.  I have used brads, bow, bubbles, bath, buttons, blue towards the theme 'B'.  The bubbles and text are from a sheet of rub ons from sizzix. Most of the buttons are old buttons i got from a Church sale, the background is a sheet of mirror card with a sheet of printed cellophane over the top.

I am entering this card into the following challenges

Christmas in July

Morning all
Hope you all had a great weekend
Today over at Whoopsi Daisy we are having 'Christmas in July' yes that is the theme this week.

My card has been made using the digi image from the Daisy and Friends at Christmas CD .

I printed the pre coloured version for this card and then added a small amount of glitter, and matted it onto some coloured card, then die cut a vintage doily ( Sizzix) and cut it in half and placed it underneath, finally i added a few stickers on the base card.
