Christmas Fairy

It's the first of the month and this is the first of three DT posts from me today.  Please pop back later and take a look at my first Craftyhazelnut's Patterned Paper DT card and my Paper Creator DT card.

This is my card for the the new challenge at Craftyhazelnut's Christmas Challenge Extra, our theme is always 'anything goes' - you can use any materials, any techniques etc., as long as the end result is a Christmas project.

I have used the sweet image called Ava Christmas - Mistletoe Fairy kindly provided by our regular sponsor - Bugaboo.  I coloured my image with Spectrum Noir markers and added Wink of Stella glitter to the berries.  My papers are from the Simple Stories 'Cozy Christmas' collection and the Carta Bella 'so this is Christmas' collection, the sentiment is also from the Carta Bella collection, the pearls are from my stash.

I printed the image twice and fussy cut her so that I could pop her up and add a little dimension.

Christmas Gifts

I have used the fabulous image called Rudolph Presents kindly provided by our regular sponsor - Bugaboo.

I coloured my image with ProMarkers, added Wink of Stella glitter to the presents and 3D Crystal Lacquer to his nose.

I printed an extra image and coloured and fussy cut the presents, the sentiment is from my stash along with the gems.  My papers are from the LOTV Festive Trimmings collection.

Anyone for a cupcake!

This is my card for the Friday and final Challenge over at the Bugaboo 5th Birthday Celebrations and it is a Recipe Challenge - I have chosen Corn Dogs: Use a food stamp,  I have managed to join in with all seven of the challenges and I have rather enjoyed myself doing so..

I have used the Girl Cupcake Tray image and made another CAS card.  As usual I have used ProMarkers to colour my image and added Wink of Stella glitter to the cupcake icing and 3D Crystal Lacquer to the cherries.

My striped paper is a scrap from Pink Petticoat and I used a Spellbinders die to cut the canopy shape - I though it made it look a little like a Tea Shop.  The sentiment tags are a LOTV stamp and the twine is from Lawn Fawn.

To have & to Hold

It's time for a new challenge at Winter Wonderland and the theme this week is:

Only One Designer Paper

Don't forget that it is one of the few months of the year when you don't have to make a Christmas project to enter our challenge, although you can still make a Christmas project if you wish.

I have used a gorgeous image from All Dressed Up who are our sponsors this week.  I have coloured my image with ProMarkers and added Wink of Stella glitter to her veil.

Christmas Fairy

It's time for a new challenge at Winter Wonderland and the theme this week is:

Things with Wings

  

I have used an adorable stamp from the Crafter's Companion Strawberry's Kisses collection, I coloured her with ProMarkers and added glitter to her wings, the papers are from Nitwit Collections.

I have made a Christmas card - but it is one of the few months of the year when you don't have to make a Christmas project to enter our challenge, although you can still make a Christmas project if you wish.

I  cut out my image with a Spellbinders circle die and mounted it onto a scalloped circle.  I used the sentiment from the stamp set and coloured it with the same ProMarkers that I used for the kittens wings.

My bow is a Die-namics die cut and I have decorated the inside of my card to match.

Thanks for bee-ing so kind

The Less is More Challenge this week is 'Little Creatures', as soon as I saw the theme I knew which image I was going to use - Pink Petticoat Little Bee Cuties.

I have coloured my Bee with ProMarkers and added some Wink of Stella glitter to the wings and heart in the sentiment, I then added some 3D Chrystal Lacquer to the heart as well.

The striped papers are also from Pink Petticoat and the yellow card stock is from my stash - I used an EK Success punch to punch the border.

Relax

It's time for a fabulous new challenge at the House-Mouse & Friends Monday Challenge and this fortnight our theme is: Splish Splash, anything to do with water, chosen by Tracey.

For my card I've used a fabulous image from Joanna Sheen's Happy Hoppers Love Bunny stamp set and papers from the LOTV Promises paper pad.  I have coloured my image with ProMarkers and added some Wink of Stella glitter to the bubbles.

I used a selection of dies to cut out my image and layers and an EK Success punch for the border.   The sentiment tags are LOTV and I have added some ribbon and Crystal Candy to embellish .

Plant Pot Friends

This is the card I have made for the challenge over the Digi Designs Challenge, the theme is Birthdays and this card will be for one of my boys to give to my Mother in Law.

I think this image is from Di's Digi Designs but I've had it for quite some time and I'm not sure what it is called, I have cut it out with a Spellbinders Scalloped Circle die along with the sentiment.

The papers are from the LOTV Always & Forever collection and the Sentiment is a LOTV stamp.  I inked the edges of the papers and cream card stock, added some Wink of Stella glitter to the frills on her dress and some 3D Crystal Lacquer to the centres of the flowers.

Life is sweet

This is another card using one of the many Pink Petticoat images that I have collected, this one is called Lola Rose Cupcakes and I have coloured her with ProMarkers.

I spent ages trying to embellish this card, I tried ribbon, twine, sequins and gems but nothing looked right so I have left it really clean and simple.  All that I have added is a Marianne stamped sentiment, some Wink of Stella glitter to the cupcakes and frill on her dress and some 3D Crystal Lacquer to her earings, necklace and shoes.

Hugs and Kisses

It's time for the GEMS to host a new challenge over at A Gem of a Challenge and the theme for this fortnight is All you need is LOVE chosen by Helen.

I have used the adorable Love Birds image available in the Pink Gem Shop, it's in the sale at the moment so pop over and grab yourself a bargain.

I coloured my image with ProMarkers and used some papers from my Simon Says Stamp Monthly Card Kit.  The hearts are a Lawn Fawn die, coated with 3D Crystal Lacquer and I also added some glitter to the birds wings and the flowers with my Wink of Stella brush.  I die cut the little scalloped border with my Die-namics Mini Scallop Edging Border die and the sentiment is a Flonzcraft Stamp.
