This is a Tim Holtz tag that I did a stencil on a stencil technique. The twisted square stencil is by Momenta, and the dot stencil is by Gina Marie. I used Distress Oxides. The sentiment is by Sizzix. I stamped it with purple ink and clear heat embossed.

Manly Monday Houndstooth Tags
The tags are upcycled from a bank that my mom swooped up from being trash when the bank went computerized and no longer needed them
My mom worked at a bank for 35 years. In that time she experienced many changes; a name change, staffing changes, location changes, and a change to become computerized. They no longer needed paper tags or plastic bags for checks or these shaped boxes that held specific papers. She helped those things to be recycled and not just thrown away. My Mom swooped up those tags before they made it into the trash bin and rerouted them to my house.
Anyway, I stamped the tags with a houndstooth stamp by Deep Red stamps. The small round circle at the top is a tag by Basic Grey. The background paper is ancient by Provo Crafts . The brad is from my stash. Thanks for looking.

Gold Frame around a Candle Christmas card
For my card today I have a candle that was cut out with my Cricut. I glued it onto a tag from my stash. (I have no clue as to where it came from.) The frame shape is the negative of a Simply Refined die. Idk how to explain this...I trimmed around the outside of the negative frame because when I ran the original die thru the Gemini I had another die too close to this die and therefore I didn't have enough gold to cover the entire card front. I think in five years when I come back to this post I will understand what I wrote. Maybe.
The gold cardstock by Creative Memories is no longer being made. Such a bummer. Thanks for looking.

Yellow Balloon Birthday Card
These are not my favorite cards but I made them. This blog is a place for me to look at all the things I've made for the last 13 years. I wouldn't be true to myself to not have the ugly cards posted too. Creative Memories sticker borders. Sizzix die cut. Distress ink. I added a sentiment over the wrinkle in the die cut.
Stampin Up-polka dot paper. Tag Creative Memories. Spellbinders doily die cut. Thanks for looking.

Manly Monday Camera Cards with the backgrounds made with scraps.
My first card has strips of paper leftover from projects. Some of the manufacturers are My Mind's Eye, Colorbok, and Basic Grey. The white pieces of paper are probably patterned paper turned over. I do this a lot. For this card, I wanted to get out the Stampin Up wheel stamps. The camera stamp is from Tim Holtz and I colored it in with distress ink and water.
The Tag is by Basic Grey. The camera stamp and tiny stapler are both by Tim Holtz. The sentiment by Bo Bunny (?). The background stamp is by Stampin Up. The ribbon is from Michael's. I'll have more of these camera-stamped cards coming up. Thanks for looking
My second card is for a. Tag challenge at the The Male Room
You look Fabulous Given how old you are
This is the stamp I will use on the insides of the cards with cameras.

Manly Monday Merry and Bright Cards
Christmas Cards with black ribbon on top of every other white stripe. My friend said it looked masculine and therefore, I decided to make it today's card (s). I put eyelets in the tags that I can hand cut out of the sentiment sheet from the same paper pad. I had cut off the bottom of this tag because it had the words to and from on it. In order to continue the look of a chalkboard, I would use a white pen around the edges.

Happy Holidays metal sentiment Card
I made a Christmas card. The tree stamp is an oldie by Stampin' Up and colored in with Copic markers. The star on top is an eyelet. The background patterned paper is an oldie by Provo Craft. The green layer behind the tree is cardstock from my stash and then the next layer is a sticker that I've been trying to use up.
The sentiment is metal and engraved with happy holidays. It is from Making Memories. The tag that it is under is by My Mind's Eye. The silver paper circle punch is by Creative Memories. The brad inside the circle is from my stash.
Thanks for looking.
This card also uses the same metal sentiment

Christmas card book through the years with the Sarjeants
This first card really shows my old style of scrapbooking. I used many components of the actual Christmas card they sent with the photo. Things like the circle at the bottom. I cut it out with the Creative Memories cutting system. I circle punched the sentiment (Peace) and then larger green circles for them to stand out. Then, I cut out what was written on the inside and taped it onto the left side border stickers. I even cut out their signature and placed it below the title. I stamped their name on white cardstock and cut them out. That and the year is on the right side. It's a super old fashion way to scrapbook but that's what I did at that time.

Manly Monday Deep Red Stamps "Time" to Celebrate Card with Tag
Real quick, August 8, 2009 is when I started my blog. It has evolved in the last 12 years. At first, I was busy auditioning to be on Design Teams, trying to get published in magazines and entering a lot of challenges. I did those things to get noticed as a great card maker and scrapbooker because if I was I would get free products. Not worth it.
Now I use my blog as a place to have my projects all in one place. Who knows where it will go from here. All I can do is: Keep moving forward.
My card today uses two Deep Red stamps. The clock and the Metal Mesh background. I used distress crackle paint as the stamping medium. The sentiment is made up of an alphabet stamp set by Close to my Heart and the word stamps by The Paper Studio. The tag and brad are from my stash.
