Matching cards using a 6x6 patterned paper

I used a 6x6 piece of patterned paper 4” on one side and 2” on the other card. I also used the orange-ish scalloped ribbon from Stampin Up. The white zig zag is a border die by Spellbinders. I used an old Sizzix chunky die on the right and a Scrapbooking Made Simple die on the left.
I’m entering this matching set of cards into:

Autumn Birthday wishes

So I didn’t like the patterned paper on this card base. So I heavily inked it with distress oxide, and when I had it covered, I then took a background stamp a Chevron background stamp and sprayed it with water. I then put the card on top of the background and let it sit for a couple of seconds I pulled it up and was able to get the image of the background stamp.
The background stamp is by Hero Arts. The border die is by Tim Holtz. The birthday die is by Clearly Besotted. I just realized that the tiddle is missing from the I.

Then I added some Cricut wave die cuts on the left card a then I added some waves from the pattern on a Kleenex box to the card on the right. The seaweed stamps and matching dies are unknown.

3 Stripes of patterned paper Anniversary cards

I made these fun anniversary cards using my Valentine’s Day products. The patterned paper is by Fancy Pants. The scalloped border die cut is by Martha Stewart. On the first card, I cut the border in half and adhered them to the outsides. The polka dot patterned paper is by Papertrey Ink.

For the second card, I left the border together and adhered it to the center. I cut the top of the strips of patterned paper on the top and bottom with decorative scissors that resembled postage stamps.

The sentiment on both cards is by Close to my Heart. Thanks for looking. HAGD!

Manly Monday Books at a Coffee shop card

This card is for Craft Roulette card #213
Project: Hello card
Colors: Robust-my online resources said browns, dull orange, dull yellow, and grey
Element: Workplace people at work drink lots of coffee
Random: Mixed media -Copic markers, background stamp, and using wallpaper.

I made the background using a background stamp by Stampin Up with Hero Arts ink. The book stamp is by Darice and is colored in with Copic markers. Then I fussy cut the image.
The brown and blue square dies were bought off eBay. The interesting look to them is because there was already a hole in the center of the blue square. So when I lined up the squares there was a funky look to it.
The “Hello” sentiment and the border dies are by Spellbinders. The side border is made from wallpaper samples.
The rust-colored sticker dividing the stamped area and the border is by Creative Memories, I’m using up some oldies but goodies.

January Calendar layout Grandpa Brian

Here we go with another year of Calendar layouts on Wednesday. This one was for my brother’s 2023 calendar. The blue background is the actual calendar base. February is pink. March is green. April is blue and so on. Sometimes I used the color instead of adding anything to it.
Anyway, I used some really old products for this layout. The snowflake paper circa 2005 and is by Colorbok. The large white snowflake on the right side was cut out with my Cricut. I have not touched my Cricut in well over a year.
The border at the bottom is a blue vellum by Creative Memories. The title on top is a Sunborn die cut and I can’t remember if the letters/words were in the circles or if I stamped them. I think that the letters are perfectly straight, so I’m going to say I didn’t stamp them.
Thanks for looking.

Black n white houndstooth butterfly card

The patterned paper is by My Mind’s Eye. The border is one I made with Spellbinders border die. The  butterflies are from Dollar Tree stamp set except the one that I colored in with Copic Markers. That’s it. nothing special.
I used THIS CARD as my inspiration.

Gold 50th Anniversary card with Mosaic Stamp

Today's card is for a 50th anniversary. I made about four of these but all a little different since I don't have that many gold papers/supplies. The gold border paper is by Creative Memories which is old and I'm running out of it. The other gold paper is a scrap from a store bought card.
The two stamps I used in my card are both by Deep Red stamps.
Behind the 50 is the Floral Mosaic stamp and the second stamp is the Vintage border stamp at the bottom. I stamped both with Versa Mark ink and heat embossed them with gold embossing powder by Stamp N Plus. I fussy cut the border stamp and covered part of it with the gold recycled piece of paper.
I cut the numbers out using my Cricut and the border is a die by Spellbinders.

Thanks for looking.

Statue of Liberty Stamp with a chalked background card

My card today uses a Statue of Liberty stamp by
I stamped the image with Versa Mark ink onto white cardstock and heat embossed it with Stampin Up silver embossing powder. From there I die-cut the image out with a Spellbinders die and while the paper was still in the die I inked the top with blue and the bottom with green distressed inks.

To create the background for my card I mixed it together to paint with powdered chalk both by Stamp N Plus. I used two different stencils by Tim Holtz/Ranger and applied the mixture to the watercolor paper using a cosmetic wedge. You have to be careful not to swipe the wedge over the stencil but rather tap up and down. The watercolor paper is by Strathmore and the paper behind it is by Color Aid.

I embellished the card with pre-made die cuts by Studio G and ribbon by Martha Stewart.

Thanks for looking.
