October Calendar Layout Happy Fall Party Crashing

This is an oldie. I always stamp on the  old calendar layouts, “From the 2013 calendar” which you can see under the photo. Those letter stamps are by Lawn Fawn. I have another layout from this party that was in another family’s calendar.

The brown shaped cardstock by Creative Memories. I chopped it up to fit the 8.5 x11.75 layout. The die cuts are by Recollections. The red leaf punch is by Marvy. The football is a sticker. I used the Creative Memories cutting system for the circle. The title are letter stickers by

Floral Friday Coral Floral Card

The patterned papers are by My Mind’s Eye, Cosmo Cricket, Basic Gray. The sentiment by Hero Arts is stamped onto a Martha Stewart label sticker. The flowers are by Prima and brads probably from Making Memories.

Papers are same as above. The sentiment stamp by Hero Arts is stamped with Versa Fine black ink on a scrap of paper that has powdered chalk on it. It punched out beautifully using an oval punch by Marvy. The sentiment stands out from the white flowers most of which are by Prima. Thanks for looking.

The above photo is the rough draft of the 2nd card. I like what I went with. Thanks for looking.

Candy Cane Lane card with a double heat embossing

This card is something else. I loved doing it and I need to find a different embossing folder to try the same technique, agree? And I will take ideas/requests
There are way too many pictures but sometimes that’s the way it goes.
The embossing folder is by We R Memory Keepers. It's a little bit longer, so that's why I could line up the design. Meaning I could do this technique because the opposite, embossed and debossed was longer and could line up. (that was a horribly long run-on sentence.)
The embossing folder is 3" wide. Therefore, these are 3 separate pieces of cardstock. (I think I said that)
I dry embossed 2 pieces of red cardstock and I'm not sure if they are from the same manufacturer they look like two shades of red. I hate the shades of red cardstock and how they are hard to match up. I probably didn't think the idea would work.
>Click<My cousin used to obsess over the shades of red and I would be so Rrrr, "Just pick a piece of red paper!" So one day I ran into a problem with matching reds so I fanned out the pieces of red cardstock all over my desk and took a picture. I texted her the picture and apologized for those times that she couldn't find just the right red to match her son's shirt when we were scrapbooking. She appreciated the apology.
>Click< Back- moving on with the tour.
Then I dry embossed a shimmery white cardstock.
I took a red "Wet Looks" Marvy embossing marker colored it into the debossed pattern and then heat embossed it with red embossing powder.
I did the same thing for the red cardstock but in white. The embossing marker is Embossing Dual Pen 11 #81 Clear by Tsukineko and used Hero Arts white embossing powder to finish the job.
I must say that I didn't use a powder bag before heat embossing and it shows with embossing powder everywhere. For the first time with such a technique, I'm all good with that.
I trimmed the panel down and gave it a nice white border on the sides. The sentiment is one of Cricut's print and cut.

This post was stupid long and way too wordy with probably many grammatical errors. This may be why I didn't want to post it. Thanks for sticking with me. Thanks for looking.

Unique background Fall colors card

My card was created using one distress ink and a Post-It note. The leaves are die-cuts from my Cricut and one is a Marvy Punch.

This is how I finished it.

I'm super tired of my phone camera and how the colors are not true to the card.

Soft colors make a wreath card

I made my card today using die cuts from a Sizzix set that is full of birds. The patterned papers I used were by K and Co., Pepertrey Ink, and Tim Holtz. The background paper is by Studio Calico. The sentiment stamp was a set I bought off of eBay. I've been on a shopping spree the last month. I'm not as familiar with my new products. Anyway, the bow is a sticker by Mrs. Grossman. I punched the center of the wreath out with a Marvy circle punch.

Lately, I have been doing challenges for inspiration and a place to start.
I made this card for the challenge at

Gnome Card and 100th birthday banner

I made this card and banner for our grandma’s 100th birthday.

There was a lot of time making this card. The gnome is a Cricut cut in my stash.
The gnome is an inside family joke
Edited-I did look it up and the gnome is from the cartridge Fresh Picked.

The brick paper is from Recollections and looks like real brick.
I made the grass paper from scraps. I inked them with distress ink and cut slits in the top.
I used dimensional adhesives to give the grass multiple layers.
The mushroom and flower are stickers by K and Co.
The lattice on the left was inspired by the heritage photos I'm scrapping.
I took a vine-like ribbon and weaved it into the lattice die-cut by Cricut.

That ribbon has been in my stash for probably 5 years

The flowers on the vine were made with a punch from Marvy.
It felt good to use a lot of old supplies. And have it come out so cute.

I hadn't been entering challenges but have recently found a few blogs I like. This card is perfect for the summer fun challenge at:

I hoped Siri was correct. I stamped out those numbers. I love how it turned out.

Fall wreaths

Fall wreaths with paper leaves. Products listed below.

I started with styrofoam wreaths from the dollar store and wrapped it with small pieces of fabric.
All kinds of product in these. Stamped leaves by Stampin Up (Colorbox ink and die cut with matching dies). Large leaves with embossed detail by Martha Stewart.

Leaves by Creative Memories large brown, medium red leaves, embossed yellow and many small oak and maple leaves which is a punch. Those red leaves were either sprayed with Glimmer Mist or stamped with a word background stamp by Hero Arts.

Spellbinders leaves are the larger orange in the back as well as one five leaf and one three leaf  die cuts cut out of cereal box.

The leaves by Marvy are punches that are big in the back or super tiny in the front.

There are 2 green ones that I see were cut from my Cricut and not needed for whatever reason. The plain green leaves are die cuts by Sizzix.
There are two green leaves from my early days for scrapbook and card making when I was in design teams. The leaves are digital stamps but I’m not sure where they’re from. I also have Dreamweaver Stencils they are small. I used embossing paste (probably white) and when it was dry I applied Perfect P earls. There’s a few random leaves and they are all close to each other (makes it easier to point out). There’s a green tree and orange glitter felt leave. The last thing I’m going to point out on this one is  a "lick it and stick it" somewhere type thing. I found it in my MIL’s craft things. Maybe they were supposed to go on the back of an envelope. Idk but they add nice color to the wreaths.

Yellow wreath:  There are a lot of the same leaves on this one.
Here are some others:
Stamped leaves by Close to me heart leaves are the two medium size green and one caramel color with veins darker than the leaf border.
Canvas background stamp by Stampin Up.
Maple leaf orange and Acorn stamps by  Inkadinkado stamps.
Green leaves, maple and oak
Background flowers by Daisy D
Burgundy felt maple
Flourish by Sizzix
Three off white leaves with one with inked edges and green with polka dot paper are by Cricut.
Two flowers by Petaloo
Water colored leaf is a digital stamp
Large die cut leaves are from a school my step mom worked at. Scallop circle die by Spellbinders
Tiny leaf stamp by Clear Dollar stamps
Two pre-made leaf die cuts by Recollections.
One of the Spellbinders dies is cut out of upholstery type sample fabric.

Lots of information. I hope it makes sense.
