Dave Aftandilian I especially enjoyed Ugasanie’s creepy evocation of a moonlit, miasma-cloaked swamp set ablaze with scores of dancing will ‘o the wisps, lost souls claimed by its guardian Crone. Onasander’s mix of deep rumbles and high birdlike calls nicely imagines what a fire oracle in the depths of a cavern might sound like. Dead Melodies also does a fantastic job bringing a witch’s haunted cabin in the woods to life, with its creaking door and buzzing shifts between worlds.

elmoantoncantor Fascinating, darkly alluring, mysterious and evocative. A very good album in its many textures, tells of secrets hidden from the world. Favorite track: Dahlia's Tear - Altar of Ominous Spirits.

Hal Rollason Forgot how good this series is. Cryo Chamber have a superb roster of artists and this series showcases them so well. Deep multilayered and yep sometimes you are definitely in a cave or a tomb. Great height (ie bass to treble) in these compositions
