I CASEd a card on the PTI website and do not know which designer was my inspiration. The leaf frame was cut from watercolor paper where I color blended Squeezed Lemonade, Carved Pumpkin and Crushed Olive distress oxide inks.

Color Throwdown #844
We have some gorgeous colors this week for the new Color Throwdown Challenge: pink, aqua and yellow.
I went with a fave Into the Blooms: Swag die set from Papertrey Ink for another Christmas card to add to my stash.
I CASEd a card found on Pinterest and the link led me to the PTI website and there is no ID on the photo that lets me know which DT member designed the original that was my inspiration. I stenciled the background then layered 3 different circles. Most of the elements were cut from white paper and color blended.

Color Throwdown #843
Hard to believe it's already time for a new Color Throwdown challenge. This time our colors are lime, pink and orange...one of my favorite happy color combos!
I decided these colors would work great with Concord & 9th's Triple Step Happy Day stamp and die set.

Color Throwdown #842
Red, orange and green are the colors for the new Color Throwdown challenge. I thought it was high time I dusted off the Oopsie Daisy stamp & die set along with the Just Mason Around set from The Greetery. This gives a country cottage feeling so I wanted to add some red gingham paper for part of the background.

Color Throwdown
Happy hump day! It's time for a new Color Throwdown challenge using terracotta, navy, and pale blue. I just couldn't resist sneaking in some "neutral" green with these flowers. Pushing the limits here! :-) I took a literal inspiration with using PTI's Into the Blooms: Gerbera Daisies die set (the company calls them 'Gerber' but I have declared it a misnomer - lol!).
All the florals were die cut from white paper then color blended with dye inks.

Color Throwdown
Welcome to another Color Throwdown Challenge with red, yellow and green! I'm hosting this time and love these happy colors which were perfect for yet another stenciled background using the In The Meadow stencil collection by Papertrey Ink. A vellum-lined frame was the back drop for the sentiment.

What's Cookin'?
Happy hump day! We have a new Color Throwdown challenge happening with aqua, red and white! That combo screamed vintage to me so out came my Taylored Expressions You Bake Me Happy and What's Cookin' stamps and dies. The background is an A2 sized stamp by The Greetery. I used Peacock Feathers distress ink (lightly spritzing the stamp with water before adhering to the paper). That gave a more mottled look to the color.

Color Throwdown #838
Happy hump day friends! It's time for a new Color Throwdown challenge: hot pink, peach and green. Perfect for another reason to feature this great bloom die from Papertrey Ink! Remember...our challenge only runs the first and third Wednesdays of every month so, you have more time to play along.

Color Throwdown #837
Happy hump day! We have a new Color Throwdown challenge with Lori hosting. The colors are yellow, pink and gray. I chose Papertrey Ink's Into the Blooms: Dahlia dies and cut them all from white paper then color blended with distress inks.

Color Throwdown #836
Happy hump day! It's time for a new Color Throwdown challenge and this time it's with kraft, fuchsia and orange. I love the fuchsia color shade but do not have a good ink color to match what I think it should be. The best I could do was use a couple of deep raspberry pink colors. Tim Holtz...we need a fuchsia distress ink color - lol!
The flowers and leaves were all die cut from Bristol Smooth Surface paper then color blended. The flowers in this die set are perfect for adding dimension by using foam dots behind some of the layers and by curling the petals with your fingers.Wednesday, June 18, 2025
Color Throwdown #835
There's a new Color Throwdown challenge with some of my fave colors: turquoise, yellow and green! I decided to dust off an older Spellbinders set called Tiered Tray. It has coordinating dies and sentiments that make it fun for a huge variety of options to decorate the tiered tray!
The card base and tray parts (except for the gold handle, yellow house, kraft roof, black display board, twig, cutting board) were cut from PTI's Rustic White paper. I added twine for a hanging loop on the cutting board...a small but fun detail.

Color Throwdown #834
Good Wednesday everyone! It's time for a new Color Throwdown challenge and Amy Rohl is hosting with green, turquoise and orange. I pulled a turquoise foiled script background from my leftover pile and added stamps from a new Long Line Roses stamp/die/stencil set from Kristina Werner at Concord & 9th. LOVE this new set!
I have no clue why the circle splatter on the foiled background shows up royal blue. It was all the same turquoise foil!

Color Throwdown #833
A color combo that I LOVE is up for the new Color Throwdown challenge: aqua, gray and red! Well...I might have sneaked in silver paper and am calling that gray. 😀 It has a retro feel when I see these colors, so it was perfect to use my new Papertrey Ink "In Stitches: Adorable Apron" die set.
