Pet memorial idea. Special keepsake for kids When our dog died I found a stuffed animal that looks like him. Using a seam ripper, I cut a small hole and inserted a small vial of our pet's ashes and sewed it back closed. I went to the pet store and got a pet tag engraved that looked the same as our dog's. It has his name and years alive engraved on it. I hung it on his neck using ribbon the same color as our dog's collar and just hot glued the ends together.
