The spinning jenny was invented in 1764 by James Hargreaves. James Hargreaves was a British carpenter and weaver. A hand-powered multiple spinning machine that was the first machine to improve upon the spinning wheel. Weaving looms became faster.

The spinning frame was invented in 1768 by Richard Arkwright. The spinning frame produced stronger threads for yarns. It was the first powered, automatic and continuous textile machine.

Samuel Crompton invented the spinning mule in 1779. It combined the moving carriage of the spinning jenny with the rollers of the water frame. It gave the spinner great control over the weaving process.

The sewing machine
Elias Howe invented the sewing machine. The sewing machine was invented in 1844. The sewing machines changed the way clothing was made and also more importantly the speed in which garments could be produced. It increased the speed of production.
Cyrus McCormick invented the reaper in 1831. He began the mass manufacture of his reaper in a Chicago reaper. It was a successful invention.

The electric light was invented in 1831. Faraday was the man that came up with such a brilliant idea. He discovered that an electric current was induced in a coil of wire when a magnet, placed near the coil was moved.
Edmund Cartwright invented the power loom in 1785. The power loom was a steam-powered, mechanically operated version of a regular loom. It was an invention that combined threads to make cloth.
