Let's make a gravy the old cook way. Looks a little silly. This is the liver, gizzards, and this last one right here somebody help me. Two stalks of celery. Make sure they're washed. They have a lot of dirt in them. Some carrots and half of an onion. Herbs on a leash or in other words a bouquet garnish. Gonna give these a rough chop. Same thing with the onion. I'm just going to cut it into like sixth. Nothing crazy. Gather around children. Papi's going to cook now. On medium tahit with just a little bit of olive oil. About three tablespoons. In you go dissect the turkey. Now that it's brown, we're going to add all our vegetables. Your flours, they go in. Little bit of smoked paprika, heavy amount of pepper, and a heavy amount of salt. Now to this, you're going to add three tablespoons of flour. Mix it in there really good. Now deglaze it with two and a half cups of chicken stock. Simmer this for five minutes until it gets nice and thick. And make sure you taste at this point and adjust for seasoning. Carefully strain in the gravy. If it coats the back of the spoon then you know it's ready. Beautiful. And you can put it on your turkey for this Thanksgiving. Hey if this gets a million likes maybe I'll bathe in gravy.
Disney Smoked Turkey Legs
This recipe for smoked turkey legs reminds me of the delicious, juicy, and smoky turkey legs you get at the Disney parks. The brine makes the turkey legs super moist and gives them a subtle spice while the BBQ seasoning dry rub packs them full of flavor, just like you would expect at Disney!
